About the adventure
The land of Etharis has never been as dangerous as it now. With the death of the last four divines' darkness and monsters roam all the land. In the Burach Empire villages disappear without witnesses, Charneault Kingdom nobles hoard safety and resources, and in the Valikan clans a whole generations have been born into a changed merciless world. Welcome to an Etharis. A gritty dark fantasy world without gods. Made for new and old players of D&D 5e. You will play as one of eight classic races and make your way through this god forsaken world, using guile and cunning as much as brute force and martial prowess. Setting your own goals and decided your own fate. Or will fate steer you. Be warned character death is always possible if threats are not taken seriously, and can always be the height of a campaign when properly handled.

About me
I am a TTRPG enthusiast and have been DMing for over 7 years. I also believe in the three pillars of TTRPG's exploration, combat, and roleplay. All of these can and will be used to enhance enjoyment of the game. I love weaving player backstory with the main adventure and do my best to have anything they give me come to fruition.

Creating your character
We will have a session 0 in order to understand the world as much as needed and to have characters created. Before during and after session 0 we will continue to edit and tweak characters as needed until session 3 by which I would like to have everything locked in. Feel free to ask me for non listed races. The 8 classic Races are: Human. Elf. Dwarf. Half-elf. Half-orc. Dragonborn. Gnomes. Halflings. Starting level we will be lvl 1 and by session 1 level 2 will be acquired. We will use the 2024 and 2014 rules to create characters. If at any point you need help or have a question feel free to ask me.
Here I will update what classes are already taken, of course we can have multiple of the same but just in case.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
- Make a free D&D beyond account and make charcter there - Add them into my campaign with link that will be sent - Make a free Discord account - When making a character we will roll for stats, make sure you enable everything except coin weight. We will track encumbrance and level up by milestones.
What Mighty brings to the table
My GM style is rule of cool and if something makes sense I rule in its favor. But expect an Immersive feel to games, music is always on and will change depending on your environment. I will always do character voices and try to help you distinguish them from each other. I will try to remind you of your character features if needed but not always. Character death is always possible and can be the height of a campaign if properly handled.
Homebrew rules
- Critical hits are: Max out dice + damage dice + mods - Resting is changed to 8-hour short rest, 3-day long rest - Characters must consume meals to benefit from resting - Flanking is a +2, then a +1 for every character afterwards. - Grievous injuries, example: loss of limbs, loss of eye, injured lungs so on.

How Mighty creates a safe table
For safety, session 0 will be started with what our lines and veils will be along with how we will communicate them. Along with the open-door policy where you may leave at any time as needed with breaks included. Remember you can always talk to me if you need to or feel like you need to.
