About the adventure
Vibrant camel caravans criss cross the endless moonlike valleys and vibrating sand dunes stretch as far as the eye can see. Here, the whipping sandstorms scour flesh from bone and silence all cries. Bandits linger in the shadows and creatures lurk in the ruins of what was an oasis, and is now a treasure trove...or your tomb... Venture forth, if you dare.

About me
I've been DM-ing for about 10 years now. I've run campaigns and one-shots mostly in 3.5e and 5e for drunk college friends, long distance covid-era households, aspiring doctors, SF activist locals, kids in comic stores, and nieces in Spain. I host in-person games in my tricked out garage in foggy SF, I'm trying to expand my knowledge of TTRPG games, and I want to practice what I love with the larger online community. I've got 5 years of improv in Chicago under my belt and a knack for storytelling. I'm a published author and my book, Alone in Bad Company, was featured in Santa Cruz's Festival of Monsters 2025.

What Philip Lindsey brings to the table
Expect some rule of cool moments when you make bold choices, lots of character voices, and dangerous combat with monsters who know what they're doing.
Homebrew rules
We'll stick to the mechanics as they've been laid out, but there's always space for Rule of Cool moments.

Safety
How Philip Lindsey creates a safe table
I'm a believer in cautious risk taking, which means that we won't rule anything out. You can simply walk away from any situation/scenario you cannot handle using the X, N, & O system. We can't possibly hope to cover every topic ahead of time and I can't remember all your preferences (which are bound to change). Instead, during the game you can just give me an X, N, or O in the chat and we'll pause to discuss what it is that needs to be avoided. I'll adapt and edit in realtime. There will be breaks and we can talk anytime about anything.
