About the adventure
The game will start in the Lichdom of Patella, a country that is ruled by a council of liches, all overseen by the Arch-Lich. As you would likely guess from a kingdom ruled by liches, they have an army of undead soldiers. What you may not have guessed is that these soldiers are mostly taken from citizens who have died in either accidents or by natural causes. Those that can not afford to or cannot be resurrected will have their deceased bodies pressed into service. However what will happen to you will be far weirder. Criminals that are charged with severe crimes will be ordered to pay the death penalty. You are one of those that have been accused of such a crime. Unlike it's namesake, the death penalty in the Lichdom is not being put to death, but being sentenced to do work that will assuredly kill you for the sake of the country. In fact, the plan is to kill you, over and over, until you pay off your debt to the kingdom. With the Proto-Lich phylacteries you may rise again and again to do the Lichdom's bidding. If you do not behave? They destroy the phylactery and your soul with it. Will you quietly resist? Will that taste of immortality drive you to become a full fledged lich? Only time will tell.

About me
Howdy, are you hoping for a relaxing time playing TTRPG's and want a GM who will give you a lighthearted and interesting time amongst the tribulations of modernity? Well look no further than I. I focus mostly on character driven narratives and adventures that don't take themselves too seriously. After all, people play games to have fun, not stress out about the impending doom of the fantasy world. I also make custom drawn character tokens for all my player's characters, although if you do have your own you are free to use those as well. I also am big on homebrewing and altering mechanics for a unique and interesting experience. Hope to have a good time with all of my future players.

Creating your character
Characters will be made at session 0, and will be starting at level 1. Starting attributes will be generated using point buy. You may use either 2014 or 2024 versions of the classes, whichever you prefer. Homebrew is allowed in general, but any homebrew will only be allowed after I have reviewed it and have given the okay. We will be creating the characters in game.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a discord account, and The Forge VTT server account. (Both are free, if you need help with Forge ask in the discord server) Have a mic and headphones. (speakers are fine if the audio doesn't cause feedback or an echo) Join the discord server that will be linked when you sign up.
What Timekeeper brings to the table
I play music during session to set the mood. Role play and exploration will mostly be theatre of the mind, with tactical, grid based combat. I try to fill every campaign with cool stuff and weird and fun situations.
Homebrew rules
Healing from spells and healing potions are generally more powerful. Healing potions are an action to use but heal 50% of maximum HP for example. Feats and attribute points are decoupled. Feats no longer give ability score increases. You gain a point every level up that you can add to your attributes.

How Timekeeper creates a safe table
There will be a break every session, the discord server will have a pinned comment in the campaign chat with all the player's lines and veils so they can be easily referenced. There will be a session 0 to discuss these with the party. There is an open door policy.
