About the adventure
Set in the world of Avatar the Last Airbender after the events of Legends of Korra, this game will take place in the time where Republic City is looking to rebuild after its latest disaster! Criminals in Republic City like the Triads and even new groups are looking to take advantage of the chaos, while the government of Republic City is floating around the idea of something new. A grand Tournament, open to teams of Benders and Non-Benders in Republic City alike, to try and build a new sense of comradery and unity! Of course, the seedy criminal Underworld has their own interest in the Tournament, and as the grand spectacle begins to be put together, many begin to see it as a way to further their own goals and desires..

About me
Hello everyone! My name is Red, I'm 30 years old, and I use he/they pronouns! I've been playing TTRPGs for the better part of 15 years now, and have been a GM for about 12 of those! I have experience with multiple different PbTA systems, Avatar Legends, Candela Obscura, Call of Cthulhu, as well as both 5e and 4e of DnD! However, I'm also more than willing to pick up newer systems and do a bit of experimenting! With my games, I aim to ensure a roleplay heavy atmosphere, as well as provide challenging combat and engaging storylines! I am someone that will often do my best to incorporate character backstories into my game's main narrative, so I aim to create a very collaborative process between myself and you, the players! Creating your character
Character creation will take place in session 0! You all will be crafting a team of Benders to take part in a tournament, as well as go through adventures through Republic City, so character connections will be important! Having concepts in place before the session 0 is totally fine, but please save full character building for the actual character building session!

You'll need a discord account and a decent microphone! As well as a Roll20 account to view maps and the like!
What Red/Mike brings to the table
I have many of the Avatar books so that we can explore as much of them as we want! I also bring background music for every scene, fun yet dynamic combat, and encounters that can be solved with social wit just as easily! I tend not to run puzzle heavy games, so my groups tend to be focused more on the roleplay and combat side of things

How Red/Mike creates a safe table
I'm a big fan of safety tools, which we'll go over in detail in session 0, but I'll always take about 10-15 minutes to talk about the game and digest things to make sure everyone enjoyed themselves, or to address any issues. For X, N & O's, if we come across any topic that you are uncomfortable with in game, please feel free to message me and we can end the scene/cut that topic out of the equation! I will also do a Consent Checklist that will be sent during Session Zero to confirm triggers with everyone and what topics need to be avoided at all cost!
