About the adventure
In this Play by Post noire style sci-fi adventure you’ll explore Nomad station, a dark and seedy space station at the edge of a dangerous asteroid field, known for its criminal activity. You’ll be tasked in uncovering a nefarious plot that has the fate of the ‘Verse in question. As a Play by Post adventure the game will be “always on” with play by text over discord. Weekly sessions are scheduled for payment purposes only.

About me
I have a real passion for storytelling and role-play games. The idea of creating whole new worlds, even within pre-existing ones through unique storytelling excites me, and is what I lean heavily on within my games. Even when running pre-written adventures I will put my own unique spin on the story with the main focus being on the player characters. Creating your character
You will be given the choice of playing a pre-generated character or creating your own in a form-fillable pdf that will be shared with the group. If creating your own you may use any official D&D (2025) resources or the Dark Matter core book, provided in read only by me.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
In order to play you will need to have working internet on either a computer or mobile device, and a Discord account. An Owlbear Rodeo account will be an advantage but isn’t required.
What Dan of the dice brings to the table
I run my games by the rules, but am willing to bend them where they get in the way of fun at the table. For Play by Post games I post a minimum of once per day, though this is usually closer to 2-3 times a day. I use Owlbear which is mobile friendly for a tabletop when a map is beneficial, but also make sure to post screenshots of any maps and player locations for those unable to access on the move. You will also be provided books and materials for your selected game in a read only format that will be accessible for the duration of your stay at the table.

How Dan of the dice creates a safe table
You will be sent an anonymous google form where you will be asked about any lines and veils you might have. Once all players have filled these in a list of table lines and veils will be made available. At any time whilst playing you should feel free to reach out to me with any issue regarding your safety and comfort at the table (or any other issue for that matter). This includes any issue you have with me. I will handle any concerns with respect and attempt to achieve resolution.
