About the adventure
This will be kind of half of an introduction to Call of Cthuluhu as well as a constructed campaign likely to go for about 4-5 sessions in length! For those unfamiliar with the setting it takes place in 1920's England, a popular place for H.P Lovecraft's novels depicting the truly horrific and eldritch. You will be playing a group of strangers who may have heard of one another, hailing from Arkham, Massachusetts to come together to answer the call of a mutual acquaintance. Expect to learn dark secrets, and attempt to comprehend the incomprehensible...

About me
Hello! My name is Maroon and I plan to give you the best playing experience I possibly can using all the tools available to me! I love roleplay, thematic combats, and watching the story we make together grow into something either beautifu... or ridiculous.

Creating your character
Character creation will be done during a free session zero where we go over the rules and stats in FoundryVTT!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Make sure you have Discord and a FoundryVTT account (They're free)!
What Maroon brings to the table
I as a GM prioritize ambience. That means I will get you the set-pieces, voices, music, sound-effects, and much more to make sure that you are not only comfortable, but FULLY immersed in one of my games. For nobody wants to know they're only playing a game while sitting down for four hours, right? As for battle-maps and such CoC doesn't utlize those super often since combat is something you're better off avoiding with the eldritch (if you can help it). Otherwise, we'll mostly be using Theatre of the Mind for such things.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew rules will be brought up and discussed between players/Gm at session 0.

How Maroon creates a safe table
We do Lines and Veils, but we also go over everything we'll be covering in this game during the session 0. If aftercare is needed, we will do aftercare. I understand that the horror genre can get pretty stressful, though I hope my brand of it won't be causing anyone the true need for therapy!
