About the adventure
This game is intented to give players a chance to play D&D as it was originally conceived. We will follow the original procedures for wilderness and dungeon exploration as closely possible. We will include the original rules for morale, reactions, and we will track time and dwindling resources as the PCs face the challenges!

About me
Greetings! My name is Allan and I have been playing D&D since 1978. The game is my passion. I have played nearly all revisions of the game from original AD&D to 5e, although I skipped 4e and started playing Pathfinder. I run pre-generated modules, but I prefer custom campaigns. Most of my experience has been of the traditional face-to-face weekly meeting variety, and over the last two years I have been developing a new VTT called Keep It Lit. I write software and design electronics for a living. I think the VTT tech is great, but I am a strong believer in keeping it simple so it does not interfere with the story and player emersion.

Creating your character
Players will roll 3d6 for each ability score. There will be some adjustments available as described in the OCE Rules Tome. Player will then chose a class and roll starting hit points. Finally, players will roll 3d6x10 for starting gold to purchase their starting equipment.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
We will use Discord for audio and video. Platers will need to join the following Discord server: https://discord.gg/Jpma6tbb Portions of the adventure will be theater of the mind a portions will use a new VTT called Keep It Lit. Players should login to Steam, search for Keep It Lit, and download the app.
What DM Allan brings to the table
I will use background music and NPC voices to enhance the immersion. I believe in rulings over rules. If it is cool, we'ill go with it! I will telegraph danger, but I will not pull punches or fudge dice rolls. Characters my die, but it's usually because they pressed their luck. If this happens to your character, rest assured that we will generate new character and get get you back in the action right away!
Homebrew rules
We will discuss any homebrew rules during the session. If we make any changes, the Referee will document these decisions and make the rule available on the Discord channel.
