About the adventure
This adventure is built for newcomers who want a character-driven campaign full of eerie discovery, emotional stakes, and found-family bonds forged in the search of something special to each of you. We’ll begin with the module “House of Lament” to get acquainted with the mists and your characters. Then the Mists take over. From there, the dice gods decide where you wake up next and which Domain of Dread pulls you into its story. At Session 0, each character will choose something precious they’ve lost. It could be a person, a memory, a vow, an object, or a piece of themselves. That missing piece becomes your personal hook: scattered across different Domains, hidden like cursed treasure, waiting to be reclaimed… if you can survive what’s guarding it. 🌫️Step into the Mists 🗝️Hunt for what you lost across the Domains of Dread 🕯️Uncover secrets, bargains, and horror 🖤Build relationships that matter, because in Ravenloft, they’re what you fight for Game vibes include: 🔷Character-driven roleplay 🔷Exploration-forward “slice of life” as you travel from domain to domain 🔷A campaign shaped by your choices 🔷Tension and danger with combat when it matters. Teamwork strongly rewarded! 🔷A party-first mindset: bring a character who’s fun to play and fun to play with This is an isekai-friendly setup. Your character can be from anywhere, any world, any genre. The Mists don’t care where you came from. So grab your spellbook, your blade, your nerve, and whatever hope you have left.

About me
Zillenial, Queer, Witch, they/them I’ve been GMing since 2018, and I’m the reason most of my friends fell into the tabletop rabbit hole in the first place. I’ve played and/or run D&D 5e, Werewolf the Apocalypse, Vampire the Masquerade, Thirsty Sword Lesbians, Monsterhearts, Monster of the Week, Demigods, and Upriver Downriver. My tables lean loose and fast. I love player-driven chaos and campaigns that feel alive. I’m adaptable, and I’m always down to follow the best idea in the room. I also design games. I wrote a TTRPG called Final Girl (published on itch.io) and I’ve released a few modules there too. I hope to run some Final Girl games here for other horror movie trope fans! Expect an inclusive, safety-forward table where we’re here to have fun in whatever form that takes. LGBTQ+ and allies welcome.

Creating your character
This is an isekai-friendly setup. Your character can be from anywhere, any world, any genre. The Mists don’t care where you came from. We will have a session 0 and a Character Creation Session. We will start at level 3 and create our characters on Roll20. I will automatically clear any Wizards of the Coast content and will review third party content on an individual basis.

What eli/elisa brings to the table
At my table, you can expect a game that’s immersive without being precious about production value. I don’t use AI art or AI music. For audio, I’ll pull from free tracks available on Roll20 when it fits the moment, and utilize my Roll20 assets (maps, tokens, etc). Character creation is meant to be smooth and easy for beginners. I have my compendiums set up on Roll20, so you’ll have solid options and clear references while building. If you’re unsure, I’ll help you land a character that plays well at the table without over-optimizing the fun out of it. My combats are objective-driven. Instead of “hit it until it drops” every time, fights will often have moving parts. Expect encounters that reward creative play. Rules-wise, I start with Rules as Written as the baseline so the game stays consistent and fair, but Rule of Cool gets the final word when something is fun, dramatic, and fits the tone. If I make a call in the moment, I’ll keep it consistent for the session, and we can revisit it after if it needs tightening. Where I really shine is NPCs and environmental storytelling. I’ll do voices when I can, but I’m more focused on making characters feel distinct through goals, mannerisms, and how they respond to you than on perfect accents. The world will communicate through details, consequences, and vibes, not lore dumps. I run a table that stays on track without feeling rigid. We’re here to have fun, joke around, and enjoy each other’s ideas, but we’re not going to lose the thread or spend an hour spiraling into side conversations. If we drift, I’ll gently steer us back so we keep momentum and actually get to the good stuff.

How eli/elisa creates a safe table
I will send out an anonymous google doc to all players before session 0. This will cover Wishes (wants for the game), Lines and Veils (what we're comfortable with in game), and any other information you feel will be pertinent to a happy and healthy game. After each session, we'll decompress and chat (Aftercare).
