About me
I've been a GM for 6 years, but a story teller my entire life. I started writing down my stories when I was 8 or 10, but I probably started telling them as soon as I could speak. I like to create games that people can laugh with and have fun but also explore deeper themes of systemic racism, trauma, inequality, and identity in a safe and inclusive place. I recently started doing events with a few other organizers where we use TTRPGS and play as a means of protest. I am out and openly trans and queer and I dream of making games that can help other trans and queer folx.

Creating your character
Lvl 3 to start, rolled stats and health, no limit to classes or species. Try to build characters that are balanced between exploration, combat, and RP.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Create a Roll20 account to be able to access the map. Link to both that and my DnDB accounts will be there. This can also be run using Pathfinder if that's what people prefer.
What Briar brings to the table
I do an improv heavy session that's very go with the flow and open for players to create and play in a world they want to play in. All I do is make sure things run smoothly, people follow rules, and if they want to bend them, they provide a good narrative reason to do so.

How Briar creates a safe table
Lines and Veils, X Cards, and Open Door Policy are all active. I'll go over additional things at the start of every session as this is a "hop in, hop out" type of game.
