About the adventure
Welcome heroes, To the Sword Coast North, the region to the North-West of Faerûn. A beautiful region filled with a landscape of rugged hills, precarious mountain ranges, and dense forests, it was home to several like-minded towns and cities. The most prominent of these cities banded together with nearby allies to form the Lords' Alliance. An alliance that is sworn to protect the Faerûn region. This miner, named Gundren Rockseeker, is looking for 4 - 6 mercenaries to help him escort his wagon of provisions and goods from Neverwinter to Phandalin. A small now south-east that was built on the ruins of an old thriving miners' town. This rockseeker fellow wants you to deliver the wagon to some trading post called Barthen's Provisions. I guess someone named Elmar Barthen will be meeting you there and paying each party member 10 gp each. Hurry and gather a party as Gundren Rockseeker is onto some important business. He's in a hurry for you to get started on this trip and get his supplies to Phandalin as soon as possible. ------------------------- Hello players, My name is Wes, but you can call me Dungeon Master Chef. I've been running games for about a year now. Specifically D&D 5e. I run a pretty relaxed table for the most part. I don't want to have arguments or disagreements at my table. I have some rules that I stand pretty strongly on, and I have rules that can be altered as we go *not all rules can be altered though*. That being said, let's get into the basics before you join my table. The campaign: phandelver and below the shattered obelisk (Yes chef can run this campaign up to level 20 if party sticks around). If you are not familiar with Phandelver and Below, you're in luck. This is one of my favorite starting points for the area known as Faerûn. There is a lot of area to explore for both the experienced and the new players of this world. D&D is a great game, and this is a great module to start with when learning how to play the game. ====================================== We run weekly games | 3 hour game | Thank you for joining my campaign. - You will need to join my Discord server by using this link: https://discord.gg/FGmVjTU5ny - Read my Character Build Guide: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1INo23vs929B5fJL5ouaW-5LrYCGbJ58UzG4nWC7lf0E/edit?usp=drive_link - PLEASE CHECK CHARACTER CREATION BELOW (you gotta scroll, it gets missed sometimes) ========================================= YOU WILL NEED THE FOLLOWING: - DISCORD - D&D BEYOND ACCOUNT - ROLL20 ACCOUNT - MICROPHONE WITH DECENT QUALITY - Working computer/tablet ================================

About me
Hello, My name is Chef. I'm a professional Dungeon Master. https://chefsdungeon.com/ <---Website link! (More Info) My website adventure links will bring you back here, this website is just for additonal information all in one place. I'm a professional game master who really enjoys running TTRPGs on this platform. I have been running games for a few years now and really enjoy the community I've built over time. Some of my players have actually ended up becoming friends, and others have made friend groups from joining my games. It's just a great time seeing how TTRPGs can bring complete strangers together and create new friendships. When I'm not running games, I'm working full-time in restaurants. Mostly morning shifts (EST Timezone), but sometimes I'm required to work nights when they can't find anyone else to fill a shift, and of course, I'm always in the kitchen for the holidays. I also have a few helpers on my Discord server that are there whenI'm at work to help assist new players joining. They've all been around for a while and are well educated in how I run things. Other than being a Game Master, and chef. I like to do computer programming (the reason I even crafted up my own website), Playing video games, and training with my German Shepherds. Oh! I also like to donate a portion of my income each month to a GSD rescue! So if you're all about supporting the working puppies who need good homes, your sessions help them continue to do the good work they do and get these dogs out of shelters. So that's me, chef. The Game master who just loves to do this and really hopes you come to my adventures and have a great experience!

What to expect
Preparing for the session
Have a character idea in mind before session 0. Make sure you understand the basics of D&D. I'm always here to help new players but having some info from reading through SRD & PHB will help things make sense faster. D&D is a bit of a heavy rule game. Within the discord server, there is a better breakdown of prep for session 0 and staff who help me get new players up to speed. Just please make sure you read the rules doc & build guide doc because both should have a clear understanding of what chef's rules are.
What Chef brings to the table
I bring a fun environment, entertaining RP, and combat that will keep you on your toes. I push to make sure all my players are having a great time during their sessions at my table. I'm always looking to challenge my players and help push their backgrounds into the campaigns so that they feel more involved in the world they're playing in.

How Chef creates a safe table
I have rules in place to make sure no player feels uncomfortable. Stuff like an X card. There are table rules and an agreement that also aids player safety in my games.
