About the adventure
House of Memphis is a one-shot for Call of Cthulhu 7e. In it, you're tasked with discovering a famous stage magician, Memphis the Great's*, fate at his daughter, Ingrid's, request. She claims it's for her upcoming wedding, but it's clear she suspects something worse. About me
Hi👋, I'm Franc, better known as Golvin. I'd like to be your GM. While I mainly run D&D, Call of Cthulhu, and Alien RPG, my real pleasure is trying new modules and systems. (Cowboy Bebop RPG anyone?) Which has led me to a specialization in running one-shots, often including highly detailed handouts, pre-made characters, and other player aids. Creating your character
Players can make their own character or choose one of six pregenerated characters. If desired and given notice, I can provide assistance with character creation. But anyone who has not chosen by the time the game has rolled around, or given insufficient notice, will have to choose a pregenerated character.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
The campaign will be run on Roll20 with Discord for notes and messages. As such, players are expected to have: - a Roll20 account, - a Discord account, - a good internet connection, - and a microphone.

How Golvin - One-Shot GM creates a safe table
When joining this campaign, I will send you my Lines & Veils (content boundaries) along with any relevant links. I encourage you to add your own, either before or during session 0. If you become uncomfortable during play, please notify me. You can do so verbally or messaging me an "X" (stop) or "N" (getting uncomfortable). At which, I'll remove the offending content or fast-forward through it. However, depending on how obvious what the offending content is, I may need to ask about it later to update the group's Lines & Veils. You are, of course, free to step away from the game as necessary. At the end of sessions, I also ask the group for feedback (stars & wishes).
