About the adventure
The northern lands are freezing. Not just from winter, but from fear. A ruthless Frost Giant King is marching south, crushing towns and expanding his reign of terror. Now, the peaceful domain of Everspring stands in his path. With no army strong enough to resist him, the Lord of Everspring turns to you. You are chosen as envoys, tasked with a dangerous and delicate mission: travel into enemy territory and deliver a formal notice of surrender, along with a chest of tribute, directly to the Frost King himself. Your instructions are clear and unwavering. The message is meant for the King alone, and no one else. The fate of Everspring may rest not on blades or spells, but on diplomacy, restraint, and the choices you make along the way. This heroic, cinematic one-shot focuses on tense roleplay, mounting suspense, and high-stakes decision-making. Combat is impactful and meaningful, but not every challenge can (or should) be solved with force. Trust, caution, and courage will all be tested as events unfold and plans collide in unexpected ways. Run at a real physical table with miniatures and terrain, this session is designed to feel immersive and dramatic, like a classic D&D night with friends—elevated with professional pacing and presentation. Whether the story ends in triumph, tragedy, or something far more complicated, it will be shaped entirely by the party’s actions. This game is for you if… You enjoy story-driven, cinematic D&D with meaningful choices You like adventures where roleplay and tension matter as much as combat You want to play capable level 7 heroes facing high-stakes situations You appreciate a collaborative table where everyone gets time in the spotlight You’re looking for a polished one-shot that feels like a classic in-person game, even online Roleplay is encouraged but never required. Engage at whatever level feels comfortable.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I’ve been playing and running tabletop roleplaying games since 2016, when I first discovered Dungeons & Dragons and immediately fell in love with the idea of collaborative storytelling. When no one in my friend group knew how to play, I stepped behind the screen, dove into the rules, and started running games. I’ve been DMing ever since. Later I've joined some other games, but I found I prefer to DM rather than be a player My experience as a Game Master is rooted in in-person play, where I learned the importance of pacing, preparation, and creating a welcoming table. I’m especially drawn to story-first gameplay with tactical depth, and I enjoy designing sessions where every player has opportunities to shine based on their character’s strengths.

What Hugo brings to the table
I will set up a physical table at home, I will organize the terrain, I will select miniatures that closely resemble your characters, I will stream the table for all to see via the link provided. You should feel like you're next to me at the table having snacks and cracking jokes. I'm pretty lax on the rules, definitely a Rule of Cool kinda guy, you get advantage for surprising me or for roleplaying your character well.
Homebrew rules
1. Only players roll initiative ( I fit in the bad guys in between to prevent unbalanced fights) 2. Nat 20s on initiative get to choose their spot 3. Drinking a potion as a bonus action = Roll for healing, drinking it as a full action = Max health potion points. 4. Death Save throws trigger a roleplaying memory of your character's life flashing before their eyes.

How Hugo creates a safe table
I have an open door policy, I usually schedule a break during each session about halfway, but player can always call for a break as well if necessary and there's always a debrief at the end of each game. In addition each player is required to fill out an RPG consent list prior to the game so I know in advance what to prepare for taking into account each player's preferences.
