About the adventure
Play a sci-fi game with an astrophysicist as your DM! We will be playing a mining crew investigating a newfound moon at the edges of mapped space. But more than rocks and riches wait below the surface. Will you make it back home with untold riches, or meet your doom on this desolate moon? This game uses the new Dark Matter 5e compatible sourcebook. It has new species to play, 40+ sci-fi subclasses, and lots of goodies to play with. I'll share the subclasses with you if you join, but you are also free to use official D&D content as well. Wizards, druids, clerics, all magical and nonmagical classes you know and love from classic fantasy are still on the table. Likewise you don't have to be a dwarf or a new sci-fi species if you don't want to.

About me
I've been playing D&D for 10 years, and DMing for 7! I've been a professional DM for middle-schoolers and their families, and run games for me and my friends outside of StartPlaying. I think roleplaying games are a great way to learn about yourself, build a community, increase social skills, and have fun! All are welcome at my table! We will use the point buy character creation method. We will create characters before session 1 via Discord. You can use official D&D material or Dark Matter for character creation

Homebrew rules
Proficient skills are free actions in combat, flanking provides advantage, and anything that grapples restrains instead, drinking potions is a bonus action.
