About the adventure

You begin in chains. Dragged far from the surface world, you now rot in a drow slave pit deep within the Underdark — a lightless realm of poison air, endless stone, and whispered prayers to a goddess who no longer answers. Lolth, the Spider Queen, is dead. No one knows how. No one agrees on why. But her silence shattered drow society overnight. The great Houses now tear at each other like starving spiders in a broken web, each Matron Mother certain she deserves to rule what remains of the faith, the cities, and the future. You are not soldiers. You are not citizens. You are property. Bought not for mercy, but for usefulness. A powerful Drow House has purchased you as expendable agents — deniable assets to be sent where true drow cannot risk their own. Espionage. Sabotage. Assassination. Retrieval of forbidden relics from ruins swallowed by the deep. Missions too dangerous, too disgraceful, or too politically volatile for their rivals to trace back to them. If you succeed, the House prospers. If you fail, no one asks questions. But the Underdark is changing. Ancient monsters stir in forgotten tunnels. Priestesses whisper of new powers answering prayers in the dark. Slave revolts spark and vanish. Entire outposts go silent. And in the power vacuum left by a dead goddess… something else may be weaving a new web. You will have to survive cruel masters, shifting alliances, and a world where betrayal is currency. Serve well, and you may earn trust… status… leverage. Or perhaps, in the shadows of a broken faith, you’ll find something far more dangerous: A chance at freedom.

About me

I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 2021 and started running games in 2023. Over the past 2–3 years of DMing, I’ve enjoyed crafting a homebrew world and telling stories with my players where choice truly matters. I currently run 4 campaigns with a total of 19 players. I like to focus on creating a narrative-driven experience that makes every character feel like an integral part of the world, whether through their backstories, their personal goals, or the choices they make along the way. I like to give players plenty of space for roleplay, character exploration, and meaningful interactions with NPCs and fellow party members, while also creating challenging combats to keep players on their toes. Exploration is something I continue to refine, but it has been a area of mine that keeps improving. All in all, I'm a DM because I love collaborating with players to tell fun, captivating stories together.

Character creation

Creating your character

We will create characters on dndbeyond together during session 0, and I will upload them onto the Foundry server.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will only really need a dndbeyond, and discord account. I will take care of the rest.

What Glitch brings to the table

I use a virtual tabletop system known as foundry. I will be using ambient music to set tone and mood. Im not the best at voices but will do my best. When it comes to rule of cool an rules as written I handle things on a case by case matter.

Homebrew rules

I have a homebrew documents of which will explain the homebrew world and rules.

Safety

How Glitch creates a safe table

I always have a session zero whether it be one on one with players or the entire party at once. Even though everyone's red lines are stated before hand, I always give a warning before hand if something might be too much for players. After the session I will ask just to make sure everyone enjoyed their time, and felt comfortable at the table.
