About the adventure
Looking for Adventurers! Danger. Treasure. Mystery. Glory. All just outside the walls of the Keep. Beyond the safety of our frontier stronghold lies a hidden ravine, carved with dark cave mouths. Inside them are tribes of goblins, kobolds, orcs, gnolls, and worse. They fight each other. They raid travelers. And now, they threaten the Borderlands. We need a group of bold souls willing to explore the Caves of Chaos. What This Adventure Feels Like: Frontier exploration — leave the Keep, head into the wilds, discover what’s out there. Tense decisions — every cave could lead to danger or reward. Cooperation matters — nobody survives alone. Your choices shape the story. You decide where to go, who to fight, who to talk to, and when to run. Why It’s Great for New Players: You don’t need experience. You learn the game just by playing. The challenges start small and grow as you get braver. This adventure teaches the basics naturally: Exploring Working together Resource management Planning and improvisation Surviving and learning from mistakes If you’re new, this is the perfect place to start. What You’ll Need: Curiosity A sense of adventure Willingness to make bold choices Pre-made characters will be provided. Groups forming now. No experience required. Bring courage. The Borderlands are calling. Will you answer?

About me
Hail and Well Met! (That's the official greeting of the Forgotten Realms) I've been playing D&D since 1987. I've been DMing just as long, first with family and then friends. Started just before 2nd edition with Advanced Dungeons and Dragons, and have continued playing up through 5e and am excited about D&D 2024. I run mostly published adventures, but I enjoy adapting them for my players and seeing how far we can stretch them while still pursuing the main quest. My GM Style is probably more Rule of Cool than Rules as Written. I like to make sure characters can be heroic and players feel good about playing. I do not allow evil characters, because I've seen too many players use that as an excuse to be jerks and I don't want that at my table. I really focus on each player so you don't have to worry about being talked over or talked down to. I keep my games PG-13 with cut scene romances and relationships. It's a digital game not a dating app. I have always been in mixed-sex groups and I believe D&D and other RPGs should be a safe space for players and characters. I'm a strong ally for marginalized humans, and I'm always working to be better so I can make those around me better. You should feel safe and heard when playing a game, and I want to know right away if you feel differently. LGBTQIA+ friendly. BIPOC friendly.
