About the adventure

At the eastern edge of Eldorune, where stone walls meet sweltering jungle, stands the frontier city of Scalewatch. A place of grit and vigilance, it is the kingdom’s first line of defense against the monstrous things that crawl from the dark tangle of Gnarltongue Hollow. For generations, veterans, mercenaries, and monster-slayers have kept the border secure—yet now, it is untested recruits who must step forward. Your party, a band of newly forged adventurers, has taken up this dangerous mantle. Green to the perils of the Hollow but eager to prove themselves, you march into the jungle’s choking mist for your first watch. But in the dead of night, the wilderness bares its fangs. The company is ambushed, and when the dawn breaks, only a handful remain alive. Cut off from Scalewatch, hunted by creatures that thrive in the endless undergrowth, survival is uncertain. Do you struggle to return home, clinging to the hope of safety? Or do you press deeper into the Hollow’s grasp, seeking the truth behind its relentless horrors—mysteries whispered of in campfire tales but never confirmed? The jungle is alive, ancient, and hungry. To face it is to risk more than your life—it is to risk becoming part of it.

About me

I’ve been playing Dungeons & Dragons since 2021 and started running games in 2023. Over the past 2–3 years of DMing, I’ve enjoyed crafting a homebrew world and telling stories with my players where choice truly matters. I currently run 4 campaigns with a total of 19 players. I like to focus on creating a narrative-driven experience that makes every character feel like an integral part of the world, whether through their backstories, their personal goals, or the choices they make along the way. I like to give players plenty of space for roleplay, character exploration, and meaningful interactions with NPCs and fellow party members, while also creating challenging combats to keep players on their toes. Exploration is something I continue to refine, but it has been a area of mine that keeps improving. All in all, I'm a DM because I love collaborating with players to tell fun, captivating stories together.

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will take place on D&Dbeyond, and sheets will be imported into Foundry VTT.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Players will be given access to my homebrew documents that will go into the world and races etc. so players can get a idea for characters and how they fit. We will use discord, d&dbeyond and Foundry Vtt for characters creation, voice chat, and play.

What Glitch brings to the table

I do attempt voices when it fits the situation just know that I'm not the best but I do what I can. I use a wide variety of maps and music from different sources.

Homebrew rules

Most of the homebrew rules you can find at other tables you can more than likely find here. I do have documents that go into the homebrew rules, that are being applied to games.

Safety

How Glitch creates a safe table

I always have a session zero whether it be one on one with players or the entire party at once. Even though everyone's red lines are stated before hand, I always give a warning before hand if something might be too much for players. After the session I will ask just to make sure everyone enjoyed their time, and felt comfortable at the table.
