About the adventure
Strangers arrive in a quiet town, each drawn by different desires, mysteries, or pasts. When unusual circumstances force them together, cooperation becomes necessary, but trust is earned slowly, and not all heroes are as they seem. This is a world meant to be explored, with secrets around every corner, hidden connections, and surprises that respond to your choices. The story isn’t a railroaded journey your ideas, plans, and creativity shape the world, its challenges, and the paths you take. Tension, intrigue, and subtle personal agendas add depth, making each decision meaningful and every interaction rich with potential. This is a collaborative, character-driven game focused on exploration, discovery, and creative problem-solving. You’ll shape the story as much as the DM, uncovering mysteries, forging relationships, and impacting the world around you. There’s room for humor, suspense, and emotional beats, and small roleplay cues help bring characters to life without pressure. If you enjoy immersive storytelling, moral gray areas, and shaping a world through your choices rather than following a set path, this game is for you

Meet the Game Master
About me
Hi there I split my time between living in the UK (4 months a year) and sailing around Europe (8 months) aboard my yacht. Thanks to a reliable internet connection wherever I go, I’m able to host games in any timezone with smooth voice/video and virtual tabletop integration. I’m a GM with over 10 years of experience, and I’m still running games for the same core group that started this adventure with me a decade ago. My campaigns are fully bespoke, built around each player’s backstory and personal goals, woven together into evolving narrative arcs that blend character-driven storytelling with tactical, cinematic combat. I believe the best D&D experiences come from a balance of roleplay and action, where choices matter and the world reacts to the party’s decisions. Every campaign I run is unique to its players, no pre-written modules, no cookie-cutter stories. Whether your group prefers the intrigue of urban politics, the grit of survival adventures, or the sweeping epics of divine prophecy I adapt the world to fit your style.
View Profile →Character creation
Creating your character
At the start of our campaign, character creation is a collaborative process. We’ll begin with a group discussion about the setting and tone of the adventure what kind of world we’re in, what kind of story we want to tell, and the type of challenges we want to explore. This ensures everyone has a clear idea of the game’s style and what fits the narrative. Once the setting and tone are established, we’ll move into a group discussion about character creation. Together, we’ll make sure the party is balanced and that each character can contribute something unique to the story. This is the time to ask questions about roles, party composition, and any special abilities or quirks you want to explore. After that, each player will have a private session with me to go over their backstory, which will serve as the foundation of the campaign. These backstories aren’t just flavor—they’ll influence the plot, NPCs, and story hooks, so your character’s history is an active part of the world.

What Peter brings to the table
At my table, I aim to make the world feel alive and immersive. I provide handouts, maps, and visual aids to help you track the story, understand the setting, and feel grounded in the adventure. Whether it’s a mysterious letter, a city map, or a puzzle diagram, these handouts are designed to give your character a tangible connection to the story. I also use ambient music and soundscapes to set the mood—subtle background tracks for tense dungeons, quiet villages, or epic battles help bring the world to life without distracting from gameplay. I encourage small voice changes or roleplay cues for characters, but accents are never required. My style is about immersion over performance: you don’t need to “perform,” just bring your character to life however you’re comfortable. Combat is tactical but flexible. I enjoy strategic encounters, but I also embrace the Rule of Cool if your idea makes sense and fits the narrative, it will usually succeed, even if it bends the rules slightly. Rules are a foundation, not a cage, and we prioritize fun, story impact, and player creativity over strict Rules as Written.

Safety
How Peter creates a safe table
Player safety and comfort are a top priority at my table. Before the campaign begins, we’ll have a conversation about boundaries and sensitive content to ensure everyone is comfortable with the themes and tone of the game. This discussion happens during Session 0, along with character creation, party dynamics, and expectations for how we’ll handle intense or emotional scenes. During play, if anything makes you uncomfortable, you can contact me privately on Discord at any time. After intense or emotional sessions, I provide aftercare, giving players the chance to debrief, ask questions, or discuss difficult scenes in a safe space. The goal is to create a safe, respectful, and supportive environment where everyone can focus on storytelling, roleplay, and creativity without worrying about uncomfortable content. Communication is encouraged at all times, and adjustments will always be made if a player needs them.
