About the adventure
System: Dungeons & Dragons 5e Experience Level: New players welcome (no experience needed!) Tone: Classic fantasy adventure, exploration, heroics, and a little danger Welcome to the frontier town of Phandalin, where danger lurks just beyond the hills—and a young white dragon has been sighted in the nearby mountains. As adventurers, you’ll take on quests, explore mysterious locations, battle monsters, and slowly uncover the growing threat facing the region. This campaign uses the official Dragon of Icespire Peak module and is designed to be approachable, forgiving, and fun for beginners. We’ll learn the rules together as we play, and the focus will be on storytelling, teamwork, and having a good time rather than rules mastery or min-maxing.

Creating your character
Character creation can happen before or at the begging of the first session. Everyone will start out at lvl 1 in the campaign. Stats will be decided by rolling 4D6 and dropping the lowest number and adding the rest and doing that 5 more times till all the stats are chosen or if you want you can use standard array or point buy method. As for character class and species you can choose from any of the official species an classes available.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a free D&D Beyond account (https://www.dndbeyond.com/) to join in the game, and a free Discord account (https://www.discord.com) will be necessary for the voice calls.
What Peter brings to the table
My name is Peter and i have been playing D&D for about 8 years and i have been a DM/GM for about 5 years of them. I like to do voices for the NPCs. I am a very easy going DM/GM and will in general allow any thing you want to try during the session. Do not hesitate to ask if its possible, if anything i might try to get more info out of you to see if you auto succeed on your plan or if i leave it up to the dice gods. You will also have access to use any of the DND beyond material i have to make characters.
Homebrew rules
I will allow drinking a healing potion as a bonus action or as an action. If you drink it as an action you get the max points from a healing potion but if you drink it a a bonus action then you will roll for how much it heals you.
