About the adventure
It's all been done! Great evil's resurrected, gathering 4 crystals in a quest to restore balance and lets not forget saving a princess! And yet... I find myself revisiting these tropes and time honored stories more often than not. This type of storytelling... it's comfort food! So let's pay tribute to stories past and make a tale such has been told before, but this time lets put a spin on it! Yes, I want to heavily reference Chrono Trigger, Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star (and others) but I also love deep character development and exciting gameplay moments! The world of Lyrisynth is our canvas. This is a world of sealed evils, of crystals that hum with destiny, of swords that gleam like hope. A world where every festival hides a twist, every airship is a promise, and every friendship has the power to change history. If you’ve ever felt the moment when the music swelled, steeled yourself against reckless villainy, or smiled when a ragtag party stood together at the brink—you already know this story’s heart. Are you interested in these things as well? Fabula Ultima is fantastic at allowing you the opportunity to form a setting alongside your GM. Before we dive into this story, we'll gather as a group for Session Zero. This is our chance to collaboratively shape the world of by introducing potential plot elements. These decisions might influence the kind of character you want to play. While it's best to hold off on creating a specific character until Session Zero, having a few concepts in mind can be helpful. This will allow you to explore different character classes and skills that might align with your vision and keep your character unique and not too similar from another. All reference materials will be available to you once you've joined the game.
