About the adventure
Learn and play Daggerheart at the table in this enchanting mini-campaign. Based on the Quickstart Adventure, Savlewood Messengers, this adventure will take you deep into the enchanted forest on a new quest. We'll run a character creation and world-building session and take your new characters through a custom tale that will allow you to play through the full Daggerheart experience, including leveling up and playing a few sessions in Tier 2. No worries if you played the original Sablewood Messengers during the premiere event. This is a new story with custom content and collaborative storytelling.

About me
Hail and well met adventurers, Over the last four years, I have met hundreds of incredible people around the virtual table. The stories we've shared have brought joy, laughter, and a even a few tears into our lives. Many of these folks return to the table year after year. They'll be quick to welcome you to and eager to hear your tales and experiences when you sit down to play. My road to becoming a professional Dungeon Master is a long and storied one that began with a few little fibs I used to tell as an extremely shy kid. When I met new people, I would tell them cowboy stories about adventures I had with my faithful steed. The more smiles I received, the longer the stories went on. Growing up in the Midwest region of the US, Dungeons & Dragons was all around me. I played in my neighborhood when my brother and his friends would let me tag along. Later, he convinced the High School D&D club to let me come to the big table when I was still in Middle School. Fast Forward to 2016, I opened up the Lost Mines of Phandelver Box Set. After a 25 year hiatus from the hobby I loved, I sat down at the table with my kids and rediscovered the joy of Tabletop Role-Playing Games. Like many others, the 2020 Pandemic lockdowns led me to an online game that quickly brought me to a joyous career of story-telling and playing games. The rest we say, is canon. Grab a seat, roll some dice, live the adventure, create epic stories, and make friends at the table. Hey, there's an open spot now! David, the avidDM

What David | The avidDM brings to the table
Daggerheart will be played on roll20 with set pieces for theater of the mind play, and tactical battle maps will be provided where necessary. The rules of this game are cool, so no need to fudge anything. Optional ambient audio is provided to help set the mood and breaks at the top of each hour will help to keep everyone focused on the fun! Voice has leveled up to Zoom, but you will still get a dedicated Discord channel to keep track of announcements and to post your tasty game-related memes.
Homebrew rules
By game design, Daggerheart features rulings over rules so some table rules are bound to be created. The Witherwild campaign adds a Corruption rule that will up the stakes when engaged in mortal combat.
