About the adventure
Call from the Deep is a 270-page, full-length campaign for Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition, designed for 4–6 players and spanning levels 12 to 20 (DM Choice). The adventure begins with a shipwreck and the rise of piracy, quickly escalating into a battle for the fate of the Sword Coast and beyond. Players will: Sail the Sword Coast, fending off pirate fleets and sea terrors. Investigate bizarre attacks and eldritch rituals tied to ancient oceanic powers. Unravel the sinister ties between the Kraken Society, mind flayers, and the returned kraken lord, Slarkrethel. Face dungeon delves, city sieges, and a climactic undersea confrontation within the sunken elven city of Ascarle. Creating your character
Player Character CREATION: -ALL characters will be created with everyone present at session 0/1 as so ensure cohesiveness and understanding. Please catch up on any rules and any homebrew'd rulings. All of which will be discussed during session 0 and rules channels. As a preferred play style, ALL players will be required to roll for stats on the discord channel.* All Hit Points are required to be rolled (no taking the average) on all level ups. *If you roll terribly, the DM will work with your stats and opt to change a few, but PLEASE consider role playing with these hinderances as you will be highly rewarded in game to even your stats with the party should you face your rolls head on and RP accordingly. This truly makes the game more dynamic and fun.

Please have these down loaded and ready to go. -All links for campaign will be in the discord once you join. -Please feel free to message with any questions. -Bring the best quality sound you can get. Preferably a quiet area also. -Cameras are optional. -Please take time to go over the rule's in the discord channel. -No need to bring dice as we will be rolling everything online and visible for all.

General Rules (subject to being updated) RULE #1 FUN & RULE OF COOL! We are here to play a GAME and ESCAPE the world for a little while. Let’s enjoy it and get creative! This is a laid back RPG virtual table where you can have fun and have some light hearted jokes, but also have some serious RP and dramatic moments. Always look at pinned messages in channels. Character Creation -Milestone “story-first” leveling. NO XP in my games and the encounters will not equate to XP in most instances. You level by overcoming feats and quests and progression in the story. ->Everyone rolls their Hit Points in the "avrae-rolls" channel * NO taking average. * ->Everyone rolls their stats in the "avrae-rolls" channel * NO point buy. * -All official feats allowed. -All new characters begin at the same lvl of the party. -Any magical items or any items in general that you want as a player, let me know! I’m very open. -Story suggestions, or what you want to see in your character arc is VERY important, please let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions along the way. -> * Non-negotiable. BUT if your rolls are not the greatest, I strive as a DM to help balance it out in-game and ask that you role-play accordingly with what the dice give you. This creates dynamic characters and fun RP opportunities for the group and interactions. Lean into flaws and short comings, heroes rise from the ground, they are not already gods. If you are still not liking your rolls after considering leaning into the flaws, speak with me! We can discuss your options, I don’t want you playing a character you dislike simply because of rolls.Homebrew -Approved Books & PDF’s of homebrewed content can be found in the links channels of your games. For example, you can enjoy playing a dragon from “Monster Classes II” or even a Witch or new Wizard subclass called Familiar Master from “Valda’s Spire of Secrets” Players -NO meta gaming. (Anything you know about a P.C. prior to the game or out of the game MUST BE FOUND OUT by your pc in game.) If you have read the module beforehand, you are required not to give out any information or spoilers for the rest of the group. -PvP is ALLOWED TILL DEATH. Consequences will be enforced either by other players in game, or NPC’s by DM if possible and if necessary. -The party gets to decide whether the PVP-ing PCs get to stay in party or roll a new character. No hard feelings for anything regarding PvP. -If you do not know something on your turn while in initiative, your character also does not know it. Please ask outside of combat or in chat if you have a longer question, not during your initiative turn. This will help combat move faster. -We are all adults and are expected to act appropriately. Sexual imagery or links may NOT be shared on any of the channels.
