About the adventure

The world is coming apart. The land and the oceans slowly twist inward, dragged toward a growing magical singularity at the center of everything. No one truly understands it—except for one ancient being of overwhelming magic and quiet, terrifying wisdom. And when it finds the party, it doesn’t ask for help. It gives them a choice. Reach the center of the world within one hundred days… or be erased, utterly and completely. The road there is cruel. Cultists who worship the end of all things. Illithids that tear at the mind instead of the flesh. Monstrosities that exist only to kill. There is pain, control, fear, and moments meant to break them—sometimes at the hands of their enemies, sometimes from the very being that sent them on this path. Ally, jailer, god… it’s never clear which it truly is. They will fall. More than once. But this isn’t a story about despair. Every loss hardens them. Every failure teaches them something. Along the way they find friends where they least expect them, hope in places long abandoned, and strength they never believed they had. What begins as a forced march toward death slowly becomes something else. A choice. This is the story of a group of misfits who refused to stay broken. Who stood against the heralds of a dying world. And when the time came, they didn’t just race fate to the center of the world—they turned and dared to challenge the gods themselves, claiming their own power, their own glory, and their own ending.

About me

Character creation

Creating your character

Characters will be made before and during session 0 where all the main mechanics and triggers will be discussed. Sadly i do not use any UA(Unearthed Arcana) to make characters. (I also dont allow mystics and open palm monks to the game)

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Wonderful! Normally id say do what you want...But for this game id love for you guys to set up your character sheets on roll20/discord as well as a cool lil application known as "AuroraBuilder" Really neat lil app that well talk about in session 0 :3 I do have a discord server! and itl be awesome for peeps to join it!

What TorvernOfficial brings to the table

I love doing Adaptive rules such as "Hey, i wanna use this water spell to help me surf up top" you could do that with a high enough acrobatics check...AND, i do a lot of Raw things for all the main mechanics. Just RoC for the flavor and a lot of cool lil mechanics! I have a bunch of songs and Sound effects just for roll20 so that i can increase the ambiance...including some cool voices to deepen the immersion whilst you guys heckle with the npcs!. You'll see a lot of custom mechanics such as "Pseudocrit" and a whole new Inspiration gaining system that has you meet a npc and win against him in some games to get a fun way to get adv on your next roll..

Homebrew rules

I obviously have the bonus action potion drinking thing. Normally your crits are "Rolling damage twice" For me i like doing the "If you roll a Nat 20 you get to use full damage then roll" way. And pseudo-crits are fun. Say you roll super high.. If you get double the enemies ac, you get to pseudo-crit. Which follows RAW crits (You roll damage twice) This is done so that overkill is fun. I also make a lot of homebrew creatures and items to make it more fun...

Safety

How TorvernOfficial creates a safe table

Well be going over all the main new mechanics such as Races, classes and characters in session 0. Where ill be looking through peoples backstories and/or answering questions. Ill be doing Messaged X,N and O cards where people can send a message and we backtrack/skip depending on the situation! The lines and veils document will be sent to each person and the module will be adjusted accordingly!
