About me
I've been running D&D since 2017 (and playing since 2016), and I'm passionate about creating collaborative, story-driven campaigns where your choices matter. I specialize in customized pre-written adventures with a focus on rich narratives, memorable NPCs, and immersive atmospheres. My Style: I lean RAI when interpreting rules, always prioritizing story and fun over strict mechanics. Expect character voices, atmospheric music, custom digital handouts, and gridded maps through Roll20 and AlchemyRPG. I love weaving player backstories into the main plot and celebrating creative problem-solving—even when players surprise me with solutions I never anticipated. I have a soft spot for anthropomorphic animal settings (like Humblewood) and enjoy adapting themes to suit different audiences. I've run games for everyone from young players to veteran adventurers, and I know how to make sessions both age-appropriate and engaging. What Drives Me: As a parent of two young children, I value everyone's time at the table. Every session aims to be E.P.I.C.: Enticing players with hooks they care about, Presenting compelling problems, creating Interactive moments, and revealing the Consequences of their choices. My favorite D&D moments, both as a player and DM, come from the unexpected: the creative plan that shouldn't work but does, the emotional character moment that catches everyone off guard, the dice roll that changes everything. That's the magic I bring to every table.

Creating your character
Upon joining the game, you'll be able to join Discord, where all players can discuss character ideas. Once enough players have joined, I'll provide a link to Roll20 for characters, maps, and scenes.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord requires the use of a good mic and headset so that all players and myself can hear you. A quiet environment will help with sound quality. A high speed, and wired internet connection ensures stable audio.
What ThorTheNinja brings to the table
Roll20 link for characters, maps, and handouts. I use Discord for Audio and messaging between myself and the other players I rely less on Rules as Written, and more on Rule of Cool.

How ThorTheNinja creates a safe table
We will, through Discord/StartPlaying messaging, get everyone squared away regarding any particular items they wish to avoid. In general, I always try to run G to PG13 rated games. Lots of my experience is working with kids 9-13 years old and adults.
