About the adventure
Play as anime-adjacent 90s teen superheroes and protect the world from EVIL ALIEN FORCES! It's up to you to defeat the extraterrestrial villains bent on world domination; but don't forget, if you don't pass this next science test you might not graduate! Use the power of friendship to hold your motley crew together and come out on top! Open to both new and veteran players. I'll be using the Never Stop Blowing Up system from Dimension 20 for this truly ridiculous one-shot. If you don't know what that is, don't worry! It's a classless and straightforward system that is easy to pick up and a blast to play. The 4-page instructions for the system are also free to download online!

About me
Hello! Welcome to the table everyone! So, about me: I'm a big fan of storytelling. Though I love the crunchier aspects of TTRPGs, getting players really locked into dilemmas and story beats is my favorite part. New and veteran players are welcome! I pride myself on making dense nerdy interests accessible to anyone who wants to engage with them! I mostly homebrew campaigns and one-shots! I even GM at conventions from time to time!

Creating your character
Character creation will happen at the beginning of the session! We'll take about 15-20 minutes to go over any Session 0 conversations that haven't already been covered by the Pre-Session Form and create some quick characters! I have some templates ready to make the process easy!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Players will need a webcam and mic and a Discord account. I'll send invites to my own server and handle things from there. For character sheets, Never Stop Blowing Up has a pretty simple setup so just send me a short doc with your character's info. Make sure to fill out the Pre-Session Form ahead of time, I'd rather not cut into session time if we don't have to. You can find the free rules for "Never Stop Blowing Up" at the Dropout store! https://store.dropout.tv/products/never-stop-blowing-up-game-system?variant=46101954167029
What Haradrian brings to the table
This game will be run fully through theater-of-the-mind. Rule of Cool is king in this campaign, so have fun with it! If what you want to do is rad and you can explain it in world, I'll probably let you do it! All that said, we will be fully avoiding many old tropes that have aged poorly. I work to make an inclusive space for everyone regardless of race, gender, orientation, or faith. I expect anyone who plays to uphold this as well.
Homebrew rules
After blowing up, players may use the rolled skill to summon weapons, tools, vehicles, and mecha as long as the die type for that skill is high enough. The summoned item must be relevant to the skill used (i.e. a d6 in Brawl can summon boxing gloves, or a hammer, while a d10 in wits or tech may summon a tactical satellite that can give extra information). These summoned items may give bonuses to checks for their relevant skill, or open up new options or ideas for the players. d6 - Summon Weapon/Tool d8 - Summon Small Vehicle/Apparatus d10 - Summon Large Vehicle/Apparatus d12 - Summon Mech d20 (with at least 2 players) - Combine Summoned Mecha When combining summoned mecha, the resulting entity will use the dice types given by its combining members. Additionally, you can create lower tiers of summons if you have a higher die type than necessary.

How Haradrian creates a safe table
Before the first session starts, I'll send out a form where players can input their Lines and Veils. My own will be included in the form as an example and for transparency! At the start of each session we'll have a 15 minute Session 0 where we can open up communication. I'll give a brief description or recap and we can discuss expectations and go over the safety tools we'll use. During each session, I have an Open Door policy, where players may step out at any time to take a break if they need to, without judgement. I will also be using the X, N, and O card system, where I will check every hour for how everyone is feeling about the content, and if there's anything we need to tweak mid-session. An O-card indicates that you are feeling good and can continue without change. An N-card represents that you're a bit concerned about where the session is going, in which case we'll discuss it and alter the session as needed.
