About the adventure
You are hired by a museum to hunt down a strange statue that was stolen. The police have done almost nothing about it, and a strange astronomical event has the caretaker concerned. Your investigation will lead you to the city of Rockport Mass, but things are definitely not right. The city has been almost abandoned and the normally bustling vacation city is almost a ghost town. The B&B you are staying at is nice enough but where to start? Star on the Shore is a sandbox investigative game where almost nothing is what it seems. Who can you trust, who is setting you up for an ambush? Dozens of unique NPCs to interact with, dozens of locations to visit, meanwhile events continue to march on, like the grains of sand in an hourglass. Can you piece the clues together before the stars align and horror comes to Rockport? Join in the adventure and experience this mission run by the author, me, Ben Burns.

What Ben brings to the table
I've been a GM for over 40 years. I'm one of the few authors left that Chaosium licenses with to write CoC adventures. I bring decades of experience, I use the Rule of Cool, and use 95% of the rules of CoC 7e as written.
Homebrew rules
Combats are not contested and everyone gets one dodge reaction every turn.

How Ben creates a safe table
We will have a session 0, and will use Safety cards if the players want them. As always if something is going on, anyone can shut the game down if anyone becomes uncomfortable with whats going on by saying so, or whispering me an X.
