About the adventure

Abomination Vaults is a dark-fantasy horror megadungeon set beneath the lighthouse known as Gauntlight, just outside the coastal town of Otari. When the light flares again, something ancient stirs below—undead, cult secrets, and nightmares that don’t stay put. This campaign is a steady descent into mystery and danger, where the party’s choices shape how the town survives… and what follows you back out of the dark. My table is cinematic, character-forward, and high-energy—we’ll laugh, we’ll commit to the bit, and when it’s time to lock in, the tension lands. Players describe my style as Rule of Cool with real consequences: I love letting the party shine, but encounters still challenge you and your decisions matter. You’ll meet NPCs that feel like real people, and I run Adventure Paths in a way that doesn’t feel scripted—faithful to the source, with enough personal spin to make it feel alive and owned. New to Pathfinder 2e? You’re welcome here. I’ll help with builds, teach rules as we play, and keep the pace moving so sessions stay fun and clear. If you’re experienced, you can expect tactical fights, teamwork-heavy problem solving, and the kind of momentum that makes you look up and realize the session is already over. We play on Foundry VTT with Discord voice, curated music/ambience, and a respectful table culture. This campaign supports up to 6 players—message me with your experience level, what you enjoy most (RP/combat/exploration), and a quick character vibe, and I’ll help you find a great fit for the party.

About me

Greetings, brave adventurers! My tale as a Dungeon Master begins not in a mythical land far away, but in a setting just as impactful—the camaraderie and challenges of a deployment. Amidst the trials, Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and Pathfinder 1st Edition became more than games; they were escapes into realms of endless possibility, where my buddies and I could explore, conquer, and create for 5-10 hours a day. The experience was transformative, turning ordinary days into extraordinary adventures. My journey started with a character that will forever hold a special place in my heart, symbolizing not just a role in a game, but a part of my identity. As time went on, the difficulty of finding games that matched the intensity and camaraderie of those deployment sessions led me to Roll20. There, I not only found new parties but also had the opportunity to bring them into the very first world I had ever explored as a player. This process was not just about gaming; it was a path to discovering more about myself and what I truly valued in these shared experiences. As your Dungeon Master, my deepest hope and joy lie in recreating that same sense of magic and discovery for others. I aim to guide you through stories that are more than just adventures—they are opportunities to explore yourselves, to build bonds that transcend the game, and to find joy in the shared creativity that tabletop RPGs offer. What sets me apart is not just my background or my passion for TTRPGs, but my commitment to capturing the essence of those first, unforgettable sessions. My style blends the immersive world-building of those early campaigns with the flexibility and innovation that comes from years of adapting stories for new parties online. I believe in creating a space where every decision matters, where every character can change the world, and where every player has the opportunity to find a bit of themselves in the adventure. If you're looking for a Dungeon Master who understands the power of TTRPGs to bring people together, create lasting memories, and reveal inner truths, then look no further. I invite you to join me at the table, where we can embark on a journey not just through fantastical landscapes, but also through the landscapes within ourselves. Let's create those unforgettable moments together. The adventure begins now, and I can't wait to see what magic we will discover together.

Character creation

Creating your character

Player Guide for the Adventure Path: https://downloads.paizo.com/AbominationVaults_PlayersGuide.pdf We will create our characters together at session 0. It's okay to come to the table with a build/concept in mind, but understand that this is a party game where not everyone knows each other before the campaign starts. The strength of the party > the strength of the character. Variant Rules: Free Archetype Ancestral Paragon Gradual Ability Boost

There will be a session 0 before we start the campaign.

What Anarian brings to the table

Badass Tiny Tina x The Boondocks energy—funny, loud, and real… but the table stays moving and the stakes still hit. You’ll get Discord voice + curated music/ambience, smooth Foundry VTT play (maps, lighting, automation where it helps), and a GM who’s Rule of Cool while still respecting Rules-as-Written when it matters. Expect character voices (for fun), memorable NPCs, and encounters that challenge you without feeling unfair. I also bring “Adventure Path, but it won’t feel scripted” energy: I stay faithful to Abomination Vaults, but add character-driven moments, personal hooks, and story texture alongside the book so it feels like our campaign—not an audiobook.

How Anarian creates a safe table

Safety Tools We Use X-Card (X): Anyone can pause/skip content at any time—no explanation required. We’ll fade to black, rewind, or fast-forward as needed. N = “No”: Hard stop. This content is not included. O = “Okay”: This content is allowed only if handled carefully (tone, detail level, fade-to-black, etc.). Stars & Wishes: End-of-session check-in: what you loved (Stars) + what you want more/less of (Wishes). Lines & Veils: Lines: content we do not include at all. Veils: content may exist but is not described on-screen (fade to black). Session 0 Boundaries We’ll set expectations together in Session 0 and I’ll confirm everyone’s Lines/Veils privately if you prefer. You can update boundaries anytime—no pressure, no judgment. Default Table Boundaries (unless the group agrees otherwise) No sexual violence (Line) No explicit sexual content (Veil / fade-to-black) No cruelty to children (Line) Phobias/triggers (spiders, drowning, claustrophobia, etc.): tell me and I’ll adjust content and descriptions How We Handle Problems in the Moment If something feels off: say X, type it in chat, or DM me. I’ll immediately pause, adjust the scene, and we’ll continue without spotlighting anyone. If needed, we’ll take a quick break and check in. Table Culture Respect first: no harassment, no slurs, no unwanted PvP, and no “surprise” edgy content. Everyone deserves a fun, safe table.
