About the adventure
Fractured Realities: The Hunt for Vecna is a high-stakes, multiversal D&D campaign where reality itself is under threat. The Whispered One—Vecna—is moving across the D&D multiverse, collecting fragments of power to remake existence in his own image. From iconic planes to shattered worlds on the brink of collapse, you’ll travel between realities where the laws of magic, time, and truth are anything but stable. This game is epic, cinematic, and story-driven. Expect dramatic roleplay, morally complex choices, and meaningful consequences that ripple across worlds. Combat is challenging and purposeful, often tied directly to the narrative, while exploration and investigation reward curiosity and clever thinking. Secrets matter here—what you learn (or choose not to learn) can change the fate of entire planes. My GM style emphasizes collaborative storytelling, emotional investment, and immersive worldbuilding. I love weaving character backstories into the larger plot, giving each hero moments to shine as the multiverse reacts to their choices. Expect rich NPCs, atmospheric descriptions, cinematic boss fights, and a balance of tension and triumph. I prioritize clear communication, player comfort, and a table where everyone feels safe to take narrative risks. This campaign is best suited for players who enjoy lore-heavy adventures, high-level play, and a mix of intense roleplay with tactical combat. If you want to chase a god across realities, challenge the nature of fate and knowledge, and leave your mark on the multiverse itself—this is your call to adventure.

Creating your character
Players are more than welcome to start building their characters ahead of time, but we will have a dedicated Session 0 to walk through character creation together. The more backstory, the better! This will help me weave your backstories directly into the adventure from the very beginning. We’ll begin at Level 10, and Standard Array will be used for stats to keep the party balanced. Once you join the game, you’ll receive a D&D Beyond campaign link, where all characters will be created and stored for easy tracking. All officially published books are welcome at the table! If you’d like to use homebrew options, just send them my way first so I can make sure they fit smoothly into the campaign world and tone. I’m happy to work with you to make your ideas come to life.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Before the expedition begins, here’s what to do: Join the Discord Server – This is where we’ll coordinate sessions, share lore, and chat between games. Create or Log Into D&D Beyond – You’ll receive a campaign link for character creation and shared resources. Familiarize Yourself with Owlbear Rodeo – Our virtual tabletop for maps and combat, no download required—it runs in your browser. Check Your Audio Setup – A working microphone is required for clear communication. Cameras are optional but always welcome.
What Skyybunny brings to the table
As your DM, my goal is to create a welcoming, immersive, character-driven campaign that feels alive from the very first session. I blend emotional storytelling, whimsical roleplay, and meaningful choices with fair, engaging encounters that let every player shine. Whether you're brand new to D&D or a long-time adventurer, you’ll have a supportive space to explore your character and shape the story around you. Expect vibrant NPCs, expressive character voices, and scenes brought to life through curated ambient music that shifts with the mood and setting. Every session includes beautiful, detailed maps on Owlbear Rodeo to enhance exploration and combat, helping you visualize the world around you. I embrace the Rule of Cool when it elevates the moment, while keeping the Rules as Written close at hand to ensure fairness, clarity, and consistency. You’ll receive organized session flow, regular communication through our Discord server, and seamless character management via D&D Beyond. I offer custom handouts, session summaries when needed, and plenty of hooks to weave your backstory naturally into the evolving narrative. My tables are inclusive, collaborative, and centered on creativity and fun for everyone involved. Most importantly, I strive to create a space where your ideas matter. Whether you want to lean into roleplay, solve mysteries, dive deep into strategy, or watch your character grow, I’m here to help you experience an unforgettable adventure—full of wonder, danger, and moments you’ll talk about long after the session ends.
Homebrew rules
Homebrew Rules: These homebrew rules apply to all of my campaigns and are designed to keep the game cinematic, tense, and fun without bogging things down. Potions: -Drinking a potion yourself is a bonus action -Feeding a potion to someone else is a full action -If you take a full action to drink a potion, you regain maximum healing Critical Hits: -On a critical hit, damage is maximum dice + rolled dice -Crits are meant to feel impactful and dangerous—on both sides Death Saves: -Death saving throws are rolled privately between the player and the DM -This keeps tension high and prevents accidental metagaming The One-Time Level-Up: -Each player gets one (SINGLE. UNO. ONE.) level-up they can apply at any time, for any reason -You choose when to use it -Once it’s used, it’s gone forever -Use it wisely Inspiration: -Whoever can give a recap of the previous session earns Inspiration -This can rotate—no pressure if you’re not the recap person! Initiative Twist: -Rolling a natural 20 on initiative lets you choose turn order positioning for yourself among the party Carry Weight: -I don’t track carry weight unless things get silly -Be reasonable (no, you cannot fit four swords in your pocket) Spell Components & Ammunition: -I don’t track spell components or ammunition (unless it is a specific type) Desperate Casting: -You may cast a spell using a spell slot you have access to but have already expended -Doing so deals 1d12 necrotic damage per spell level (this damage cannot be reduced) -You also gain levels of exhaustion equal to the spell’s level, up to 6th-level spells -This is dangerous, dramatic, and very much a last resort

How Skyybunny creates a safe table
Your comfort and safety at the table are extremely important to me. I make sure every player knows what they’re agreeing to—and that they always have a way to pause or step back if something isn’t sitting right. Before the campaign begins, I send each player a private consent sheet where you can clearly mark your hard lines, soft limits, and preferences. This information is kept confidential and is used to shape the game so that it stays fun and consensual, not uncomfortable. We also run a Session Zero where we talk through tone, themes, expectations, and boundaries as a group. This is a space to ask questions, flag concerns, and make sure everyone is on the same page before we ever roll dice. During play, we use a simple color system: Yellow (sent privately via message) means “we’re getting close to a limit—please move away from this topic soon.” Red (sent privately via message) means “stop immediately—we need to pause and address this now.” No explanations are required in the moment. We’ll shift or stop as needed, and check in afterward. Outside of sessions, I have an open-door policy. If something comes up, before or after a game, you’re always welcome to reach out to me privately. Aftercare and check-ins are part of how I run games—I want everyone to leave the table feeling safe, respected, and heard.
