About the adventure
A marauding troll menaces the countryside and the pig farmers of the village Leer. Can the heroes discover the truth before their bacon is cooked? This is a 4th level one shot where the heroes must investigate the troubles brewing in the small pig farming village of Leer. What they find may surprise them!

About me
“I will be your science teacher today…” are the words I said four times daily for the last thirteen years. I had always told my students to “follow their passions” but I realized I never really followed my own advice. So here I am. I have sold my soul to Dungeons and Dragons and now I am a professional Dungeon Master, and it seems to be working well :). I have been a Dungeon Master since the Earth started cooling (actually it was the 80's) and I feel honored every single time that I can bring excitement and adventure to my players in a relaxed & safe environment. Everyone at my table is accepted for who they are because we are all here to have a good time and maybe make some new friends. My goal is to work with my players to tell an amazing story where they get to be the heroes and I get to be their biggest fan. This is my passion. My promise to you as a Dungeon Master: Before each game I will give you clear instructions and I will be available to answer any questions you might have so that your game experience is the best it can possibly be. During the game I will listen to you and treat you with respect and kindness. I am happy to teach new players and I am happy to learn from experienced ones as well as this is a social game and we all have something to contribute. Creating your character
Players will receive a link from me to build a character in DnD Beyond so that they can have access to my vast library of materials. I will be available to answer any character creation questions up until game time. Please also have the AboveVTT Google Chrome extension installed on your google browser to sync it with DnD Beyond Check the Player Preparation Section.

Voice will be through discord. You will receive an invite to the Cobalt's Quest server. Locate the name of the game and click on the Gaming voice channel. Video is optional. What Cobalt Blue brings to the table
I will provide access to character creation through DnD Beyond. I will provide maps and tokens for players unless players have tokens they wish to provide. I will provide music and sound effects through Syrinscape.

How Cobalt Blue creates a safe table
This game will immerse you into the three tenants of Dungeons and Dragons. Exploration, Roleplay, and Combat. This game contains fantasy violence. We'll be using Roll20 for maps, lighting, resources and more. We'll use a combination of strategic combat using gridded maps, and more narrative, theater-of-the-mind combat when appropriate. Roleplay is highly suggested. You don't have to use a special voice for your character but acting as your character in terms of behaviors, decisions, and values (just to name a few), is essential. Knowledge of the rules is helpful but not necessary. You can learn as you play along. I use lines and veils for safety. Lines and veils set boundaries on content for a game. Lines are hard limits on content. They are things that the players don’t want in the game. Veils are things that are ok to be suggested at but to not be shown.Lines and veils can be adjusted as needed throughout the game. This game contains fantasy violence. I have a zero tolerance policy on the following in or out of game: SEXUAL ASSAULT (OF ANY KIND) RACISM / HOMOPHOBIA / SEXISM
