About the adventure
This game is a classic epic adventure great for new players and it can be a fun challenge for the veterans. It will have a lot of opportunities for combat but it will be your choice how you deal with them. And during combat your knowledge and observation skills will be tested, along with the critical decision making during dire situations. Discover the mystery of the dying town while trying to survive. I will always try to be a fair DM, but still here to make it fun and engaging for everyone. I think this would be a great intro to D&D for some, while others can certainly have fun exploring new characters.

About me
I started to delve deeper into TTRPGs in 2019, during my collage years, specifically D&D. Now I had passion for any form of fantasy or fiction most of my life, and D&D opened the door for me to do something creative in that sense and to be able to share it with others. At first, my encounter with TTRPGs was just a one shot from my friend, but because their long running campaign table was full i started creating my own world. And at the beginning of 2025 my friends and I finally finished the campaign that i ran. I loved every part of it, worldbuilding, cooperative writing, DIY terrain crafting, and seeing the players bring the world to life. I did play and run mostly in person, but also online on discord and roll 20, right now i am learning foundry VTT. I do run professionally in local game clubs, but i want to expand my reach to StartPlaying. Hope to meet interesting people with cool ideas so we can write an epic story together and create lasting memories :D

Creating your character
I am pretty open when it comes to character creation. But as fairness to all for one shots i like to use standard array for ability scores. When it comes to books allowed: Player's handbook 5e, Tasha's cauldron of everything, Xanathars Guide to Everything. But if you have something else you want to try out just reach out. I would like to see all of yours characters before the session. And i am also open for session 0 for creation of the characters.

What Nikola brings to the table
I will definitely try to make this fun and challenging for everyone. I do like rule of cool of course, but sometimes the dice will decide your fate. I do believe that all actions will cause consequences, so be ready for them. Hence, i won't stop you from making chaos if you can handle it. Also, I do always try to bring as many maps as possible in order to enhance our experience.
Homebrew rules
Drinking potion will be a bonus action, but making someone else drink it is an action. The way i do critical hits is that you double the number rolled on the dice and add your modifiers after that. Failed death saves reset after long rest.
