About the adventure
Willowshore is normally a peaceful town, small and inconspicous near the misty shores of Tian Xia. It's primarily notable for having a rich set of local traditions used to keep it's residents safe from hauntings that bedevil the region. But it seems this year those ancient traditions have failed, and now it's up to you to find out why, put them right, and rescue your home from a cursed fate! Season of Ghosts is a horror/mystery adventure with a heavy roleplaying focus set in Tian Xia, Golarion's East Asia inspired region. This is a perfect adventure for players that like intrigue heavy campaigns with plenty of opportunity to develop their character's personality through roleplaying and downtime activities. The campaign will go from level 1-12. For people who have played other official Pathfinder adventures, expect a slightly slower pace as you dig into the mystery, compared to running into encounter after encounter like in Abomination Vaults or Outlaws of Alkenstar.

About me
I have been game mastering for a little over five years, starting with Dungeons and Dragons 5e, and then running Blades in the Dark, and then Pathfinder 2e, which I am currently focusing on. I have happily been the forever GM of my group, and have loved expanding my social circles, learning both the mechanics of systems and the soft skills of GMing, and putting them together to give friends old and new a chance to enjoy the combination of epic fantasy, improv comedy, and tactical creativity that only TTRPG's can provide. I am excited for a chance to GM for a new audience and look forward to helping players create stories they will always remember.

Creating your character
We will create a character at session 0! No experience is necessary, but feel free to come with a character already in mind! For player's familiar with PF2e, I plan to use the free Archtype rule. Pathbuilder is a great tool for building your character (and can be imported into Foundry, the VTT we will use) https://pathbuilder2e.com/app.html
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Having a mic will be important, a webcam is nice, but not required. I plan to run the game on my Discord, so an account on that will be needed. https://downloads.paizo.com/SeasonofGhosts_PlayersGuide.pdf
What Zach M brings to the table
I will host the game on my Discord and Foundry Virtual Table Top. I will use VTT maps designed for Foundry. I have also downloaded and tried out various quality of life modules for Foundry that enhance the experience with things like easier targeting, and animations for spells and attacks for a more immersive experience. I love enhancing the tone of a scene with appropriate music choices. You can expect some interesting and evocative choices to always help keep you as engaged and immersed in the story as possible. I am not a professional voice actor, but I do my best to give NPC's distinctive voices and speaking styles and give players something to play off of in social encounters. I believe it's fair to say I am a skilled improviser who is able to make alterations to the game on the fly, or to better work with character backstory concepts, so feel free to be as creative as you like!

How Zach M creates a safe table
This campaign is a horror adventure, but any lines players give me will not be crossed. While different safety tools can and will be used, the X card will be the primary way to avoid triggering content. I will never ask why an X card is used, but I may ask players to specify what specific content caused the X card to be raised. I expect all players to be respectful of each other. Apart from noted triggering content I wil not tolerate sexism, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ect.
