About the adventure
Crossing the Orecsion Peaks eastward to reach the Fringes is a bad idea : this infinite wilderness has never been conquerred by mortals for long. However, under the iron fist of the Overlord, many pilgrims choose freedom over security and brave the wilds to reach the Silver City, where they hope to beg the silent Gods for help against the tyrant. Some hope to find the City empty, and to become Gods themselves… This game will focus heavely on exploration. Whether you make a beeline to the Silver City or choose to explore the many fallen kingdoms of the Fringes, adventure and danger will be around everycorner. Roleplay with your fellow pilgrims and with the strange denizens of the Fringes is also to be expected. Whether your character is a faithful pilgrim or not is for you to decide : an ambitious noble decided to carve a kingdom for themselves, a scholar more interested in the lost lore of the Fringes than the fabled Silver City, a greedy adventurer only in it for the riches or anything else you can think of ; they all have their reasons to begin their journey !

Creating your character
Character creation will be completed during session 0. All players will use D&D Beyond to create their characters and keep them updated as we progress through the story. Once you have joined my campaign you will gain access to my library of content on D&D Beyond and have access as long as you continue to partake in sessions.

How Nathan Bédu creates a safe table
Before the game starts, we will review the Monte Cook RPG Consent Checklist. Any Lines & Veils not adressed by this document will be reviewed in Session 0. During play, a 5 to 10 minute break will be observed at the midpoint. After a session, players will be invited to share their Stars & Wishes, as well as any problem they encountered during play.
