About the adventure
This campaign will follow the events of the Vecna: Eve of Ruin cosplay, but with some homebrew elements to create a wider web of conspiracies and corrupted magic! Save existence from annihilation in this epic, multiverse-spanning adventure. The notorious lich Vecna is weaving a ritual to eliminate good, obliterate the gods, and subjugate all worlds. To stop Vecna before he remakes the universe, the heroes work with three of the multiverse’s most famous archmages, travel to far-flung locales, destroy mysterious dark obelisks, and rebuild the legendary Rod of Seven Parts. Vecna: Eve of Ruin™ is a high-stakes D&D adventure in which the fate of the multiverse hangs in the balance. The heroes begin in the Forgotten Realms and travel to Planescape, Spelljammer, Eberron®, Ravenloft, Dragonlance, and Greyhawk as they race to save existence from obliteration. If you like high stakes, challenging combats, and unraveling the mysteries of ancient civilizations and evil god cults, this adventure is for you!

Creating your character
Character creation will take place together during the FREE Session 0, during that call after we go over table expectations and Safety Tools we will discuss creating characters as a table! I would love for each player to approach with 1-2 ideas for characters alongside possible story elements you'd like to explore through them (eg what does heroism mean across worlds, the balance of the multiverse and how its gods play into that, the power of secrets, etc). As a table we will then see what character concepts are the most interesting for us, and create the party accordingly.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Sessions will be conducted on Discord (you will need this software) so whether you use digital or physical dice is entirely up to you! For character sheets, I will be creating a campaign page on D&D Beyond so yo will need at least a free account on the platform. I will be using my camera during sessions and I encourage you to do so as well, but if you don't feel comfortable doing so that is understandable.
What Apollo brings to the table
I'm a voice actor, so expect many voices at the table! In addition, my library of D&D books will be made available to you during character creation and throughout the campaign as well. The complete Czepeku collection of Battle Maps, Animated Scenes, and Character Tokens during sessions. Music and SFX streaming from Monument Studios. My DM style is very based on the desires of the players on regards to the game, I can tailor myself for more comedic and lighthearted players and to more realistic and serious players. My experience as an actor and educator means I will do my best to make people invested in the game word and encourage them to engage in roleplay with the rest of the table and myself. Take big swings! Get creative! So long as we keep everything respectful, we will have a great time! From me, you can expect active engagement, a commitment to making your characters feel as cool as they can be, and a desire to help you tell the story you've always wanted to tell.

How Apollo creates a safe table
I have a Lines and Veils document I use for all my games and this alongside all other safety tools will be gone through during Session 0. In addition, players can contact me any time during the session or in between to bring up any concerns or issues.
