About the adventure
🕯️ All proceeds from Ravenwood Assignments games will be donated directly to the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota’s Immigrant Rapid Response Fund 🕯️ Dive into the steampunk horror fantasy world of Candela Obscura with this 12-mission campaign! Part of a secret paranormal society called Candela Obscura, you and your fellow investigators are charged with protecting your world from deadly magickal phenomena. Each mission connects to the next, and by the end of the campaign you and Newfaire will never be the same. Newfaire is the official Candela Obscura setting where turn-of-the-century technological advancement mixes with ancient occult alchemy. The bleed of magick is ever-present, but seldom noticed by hardworking citizens just trying to make it through the day. I run this campaign both as a live game and a play-by-post, separately. Candela Obscura is a secret society of paranormal investigators that willingly walk into the unknown; this is a great story to explore just how much a heroic character is willing to sacrifice for the greater good.

How ChickyBisky creates a safe table
Maintaining a safe space for a horror game is key. We will set expectations and boundaries as a group, establish Lines and Veils, create characters, and review gaming logistics. Real world -isms will not be tolerated. I take frequent temperature checks throughout the campaign to make sure everyone is still having fun. My DMs are always open so you can reach me outside of the game.
