About the adventure
Fort Grace is a gothic-punk setting, an imaginary city that exists in the World of Darkness. Emphasis will be on cut-throat politics, style, and a journey through personal darkness. The anarch sect called the Solidarity is in a strained peace with the Church of Caine. In the mean time, as the city approaches boiling point, the war between the mysterious entities known as the Owls and their archenemies the Ravens offer enticements to supernatural across the city. What road of blood will your Kindred take?

About me
GM since 1980, I run games you haven't heard of. Indie and non-Hasbro games are my gig! I wrote 'How Humakt Learned to Grieve' for the Jonstown Compendium. I run Star Wars, RuneQuest and other non-Hasbro games. I use safety tools such as lines and veils, X-card, brief and debrief, bleed management tools and others. My table is an explicitly safe BIPOC/ND/Queer/Trans/LGBTIA+ space as I am queer and nuerodivergent myself.

Creating your character
Characters will be newly created neonates as according to the V5 character creation summary, Vampire 5th Edition corebook page 136-137. Clans can be any that are depicted in official sources. I will need to clear any Loresheets, as they are very campaign specific. We will also be using certain elements from Chronicles of Darkness for certain NPC factions.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You should have: -Stable internet -A Discord handle -A Zoom account (free) - Access to the Vampire 5th Edition core rulebook Character creation will occur during session zero, and during session 1, each player will undergo a Prelude, which will depict the last day of their character's life and entry into the world of the undead.
What Chris brings to the table
I do silly voices. Game play will take place on Zoom, and we will use a DIscord dice roller. Generally, I play World of Darkness games loose, but will try to keep to Spirit of the Rules (SOR). In session Zero we will discuss Chronicle Tenets, lines, veils and safety tools.
Homebrew rules
None as of this time, but I leave open the development of house rules

How Chris creates a safe table
We will make use of X-Card, lines and veils, stars and glimmers, and use other tools. Please note that this is a LBGTQIA+ and BIPOC safe game. If you are a fascist or have an issue with queer folks, minorities or women, this isn't the game for you. Masquerade is a tough setting. Please note the content warnings below, but we will discuss which are off limits when we go over lines and veils and chronicle tenets. My goal is to make this game as fun and safe as possible, while still maintaining that gothhic horror edge.
