About the adventure
The campaign is set on a Pangaea-like continent called Ora. The Gods of Ora are ancient beasts that represent the different emotional spectrum that humans possess. Using their magic they create gems infused with and empowered by human emotions. Factions have formed using these gems for good or evil and within those factions are special people able to wield these gems called Gem-Walkers. New and experienced players are welcome to join in a fantasy based world where anything can happen. The main focus will be on character interaction, story progression and as much laughs as possible. This campaign is improv focused and prefers people who really like to get into character and act.

About me
I've been DMing for close to 12 years for friends and family. I love DnD and the world building aspect of a campaign. I also really enjoy story telling and bringing fantasy characters to life in a world that is full of wonder and excitement.

Creating your character
As long as you make a character that you can send me a copy of I don't mind what you use. Typically my players have used DND Beyond to organize their characters stats and abilities.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord is used for communicating and running the session. Make sure you have discord downloaded. You will need to create a character using some sort of character sheet. It's important to send me a copy of your character sheet. The characters start at level 5. Any questions comments or concerns can be discussed at session 0.
What Shark brings to the table
I try to do voices as much as i can. I love to act and improv. I enjoy adding homebrew mechanics to pre-existing monsters making combat more fun and unexpected. I usually will pick rules that support the fun of the players while also trying to be realistic and challenging.
Homebrew rules
One of the things that is tough is player interaction. I've implemented a Homebrew rule that every player gets a counter roll for something and the highest wins. If a player is attempting to pick the pockets of another player it would be a offensive sleight of hand check and a defensive perception check. Let the dice decide and deal with the consequences.

How Shark creates a safe table
During session 0 we will go over what kind of things we want in and not in for the campaign. There is some hard tags I will NOT be using in the campaign because of personal preference and general unease of these topics. I will be available after each session to talk and take care if needed for any of the players.
