About the adventure

Lady Blackbird is on the run from an arranged marriage to Count Carlowe. She hired the smuggler skyship The Owl to take her to the far reaches of the Remnants, where her secret lover, the Pirate King Uriah Flint, is said to dwell. But before reaching Haven, The Owl was captured by the Imperial cruiser Hand of Sorrow. Now Lady Blackbird, her bodyguard Naomi Bishop, and the crew are detained in the brig, while the Empire investigates their ship’s registry. Can they escape before their true identities are revealed? Can they survive the dangers of the Wild Blue? And when they reach the Pirate King... will he still want her? This campaign is: • Beginner-friendly and rules-light • Focused on character drama, improvisation, and cinematic action • Set in a rich steampunk-fantasy world of skyships, sorcery, and rebellion

About me

I like to learn new RPGs and systems so picking up a new game type is easy and enjoyable. I prefer open world type DMing based on the players backstories and play preferences. I never liked railroaded scenarios or DMs that ignored the actual players. That is why I got into DMing. I like to create open worlds when I can and do use or start from premade scenerios sometimes but like to create the world.
