About the adventure

The frontier town of Phandalin stands on the brink of crisis. A young dragon has claimed the surrounding mountains, monsters stalk the roads, and dark forces plot in the shadows. As aspiring adventurers, you’ll rise from humble beginnings to uncover the truth behind the chaos spreading across the Sword Coast. This campaign blends Dragon of Icespire Peak with its follow up adventures to create a sweeping journey from small town heroics to region shaking threats. Expect mystery, exploration, classic dungeon delves, and escalating dangers that test your courage and cleverness. Whether you’re new to Dungeons & Dragons or a returning player, the story offers a clear path into the game while leaving plenty of room for character decisions and role-playing. You’ll forge alliances, confront powerful foes, and uncover secrets that could change the fate of the frontier. Prepare for a tale of danger, discovery, and dragons, where every choice matters, and every journey begins with a single brave step. *** This is a learn to play campaign but that doesn’t mean you have to be completely new to the rules. If you just want to experience the adventure of Dragon of Icespire Peak and beyond you’ve come to the right place. This adventure takes you from level 1 through to 12 and covers many different styles of play, from dungeon delving to social encounters.

About me

Heyo, I am Social_Introvert, cis-female she/they, I’ve been running D&D 5e games for around 5 years now (though I still feel like a newbie some times) and I would like to both expand my ttrpg experience with new types of games or help teach/run D&D games for new people!

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen in session 0 so we can create connections between your characters as well as to the locations. We'll also be using the 2024 rules.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

You will need both a Discord and Roll20 account. I will add a link to my discord server, 3 Point Constellation Guild, where I will be hosting the voice chat.

What Social_Introvert brings to the table

I embrace rule of cool but with a foundation of rules as written. I’m easily convinced to waive a rule in certain conditions. I also can admit if I’m ever wrong with a rule and am willing to retcon decisions sometimes. I also don’t do voices, though I try sometimes, and am starting to work with ambient music.

Homebrew rules

As this is ultimately a learn to play I won’t be using any homebrew rules unless there is a rule that everyone agrees with that they like. For example I have a rule that can allow languages, proficiencies, expertise, and feats to be earned during sessions and downtime. Again this can be implemented as long as everyone agrees to it.

Safety

How Social_Introvert creates a safe table

Everything from what to expect to any questions or concerns will be discussed in session 0 but no matter the time or day I will always be approachable even during a session to discuss or clarify something even after session 0. There will always be a 10-15 minute break partway through the session but any player may also call for a break if it is needed. I’m also 100% open to any other safety measures players wish to implement as I want everyone to be having a good and fun time both at and away from my table.
