About me
Salve, piacere! I'm Brian and I've been playing TTRPGs for 20+ years, 10+ GMing in a variety of systems including Pathfinder 1E, D&D 3.5/5e/2024, MotW, TSL, and Avatar Legends. I love running games with strong emotional and social hooks, heroic protagonists, charming NPCs, and an occasional dad joke. I want to run a table where players laugh, cry, and spend an hour recounting the session to beleaguered friends and loved ones because the story we created together was just that compelling.

Creating your character
Stats: 4d6, drop the lowest die Level: 1 Feel free to run anything by me. We will be completing character creation as a group, as characters are expected to already know one another before the adventure begins.

Preparing for the session
Group communication will be through Discord, so make sure to include your Discord handle to be added.
What Brian brings to the table
The majority of gameplay will be theater of the mind, but I do have specific battle maps for tactical encounters. I intend to cover as much of the "standard" D&D experience as I can, but always like to give players room embrace their creativity as well. I'm happy to include music if everyone is up for it, although I know it can be hit or miss over Discord.
Homebrew rules
Character creation will include a similar mechanic to the MotW History section of the playbook.

How Brian creates a safe table
We will be utilizing Microscope's palette tool to identify elements that don't belong in our game as well as TSL's X card mechanics during sessions (either in the main channel or as a private message).
