About the adventure
A DISTANT PAST... These are primal times. The planet ATRIA is in an age of natural wonders and strange biomechanical anomalies have come to this planet. The only continent on this world, a marvel built by ancient engineers, is primitive with vast jungles, uncharted mountains, and titanic beasts. When a meteorite punches a hole in the alloy skin of the world, strange mechanical beings emerge, set to take the surface for themselves. In response to this new threat, the folk of ATRIA devise a new brand of living armor... something between warmech and crabshell... the HARD SUIT. WHAT WILL YOU DO: -Seek to understand and stop the biomechanical menace that has descended upon Atria. -Encounter (and possibly pilot) huge biomechsuits new to Atria. -Attempt to survive the oppressive, and always deadly, wilderness. WHAT TO LOOK FORWARD TO: -An entirely new PRIMAL Domain for Daggerheart, directly tied to this setting -Brand new, Hard Suit specific character classes (standard Daggerheart classes are still available) -A unique blend of sci-fantasy, dinosaurs, and wilderness survival. CAMPAIGN DETAILS: TONE The origin of terrible weapons and technology that will eventually lead to disaster are explored here. The tone here is primeval, raw, empty, wild. The feeling of a lurking Terrosaur or ambush of proto-men will be constant. FEEL HARD SUIT Primal, for the role player, should feel fierce and individualistic. Manners are everything in this dangerous world… any offense can lead to a deadly standoff. As such, the campaign feels tenuous, on the edge of a knife. This same feeling extends to the wilds. In short: tread carefully, speak direct and with respect, keep your blade close. THEMES Jungles, cryptic totems, lawless nomads, Saurian monsters and out-of-place biomechanics define this campaign. The world is young and wild.

About me
Looking for a DM who can bring your games to "that" next level? Well, look no further. my name is Andrew and I am that professional GM that you have been seeking! My focus is on crafting strong narratives and creative NPCS that will help (or hinder!) your characters on the adventure of their lifetime. However, I don't stop there. I will weave your characters' backstories and motivations deeply into the game's narrative. NPCs will be related to you in some way, and your character's choices will strongly impact the people, towns, and of course, the storyline they interact with. No matter if you are after deep character development or the deep-belly laugh moments that come along with TTGs, I offer plenty of powerful roleplaying opportunities for your characters. Creating your character
We will create characters together during a (FREE) Sesson 0. We will start at level 1, and I will share all required materials with you. There are 5-6 new classes in the Hard Suit: Primal supplement along with a new Primal Domain. All content in the published Daggerheart Core Rulebook is also available.

Preparing for the session
In order to prepare: -Create a Discord account, and send me a message (username:papadruu) -Create a Quest Portal account (VTT for the game) -Come to session 0 with an open mind!
What Andrew G. brings to the table
Free Session 0! I will use Quest Portal as our VTT and have awesome-looking maps, custom-built for this unique campaign. I have created some homebrew content for this. We will have ambient music and I have tokens for usage. I love to bring a combination of in-depth roleplaying along with tactical, RP-based combat. I love in-depth character/NPC interactions, along with using tactically focused combat as a place for roleplaying. Rule of Cool is always on the table, I want to see you do awesome things with your characters. You can expect light character voices, and intelligent NPCs that will react to what you do.
Homebrew rules
There are a few homebrew rules I am adding to Daggerheart: -Massive Damage: If a hero takes double their highest threshold, they are instantly reduced to 0 HP. If they take triple, they are obliterated (killed before making a death move) -Various Fear adjustments: 3 fear to take spotlight, use fear for extra damage/extra moves -Agility to Dash: After a normal move, roll an AGILITY reaction roll against 10+2d6 to make a second move.
