About the adventure
The Campaign We start of at low level with the module that will take the characters to around level 11-12. Game take place in Faerun and I use the lore from that setting. We are located in the area around Neverwinter to start with and the adventure will take the characters far and wide. Module are modified a bit with the players backstories and the characters journeys. Players can expect personal arc's embeded in the campaign. For that reason backstory and character traits are important.

About me
Hello fellow adventurers! I’m a veteran DM and roleplayer from Scandinavia with over 30 years of experience at the table. I’ve been Game Mastering various systems since the 90s and have been running D&D 5e consistently since 2018. For the past 10 years, I’ve called Longyearbyen, Svalbard, my home, where I work in hospitality. My background in service helps me ensure my players always have a high-quality, welcoming experience. When I’m not behind the DM screen, I’m usually outdoors enjoying the Arktic nature with my dogs or relaxing at home with a good video game. My games take place in the Forgotten Realms; I love using the deep lore of Faerûn to build consistent, engaging worlds for my players to explore. Looking forward to seeing you at the table!

Creating your character
Players will roll for stats, remember to have the DM approve the roll Official material up until Tasha's Cauldron can be used. (Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Xanathar's Guide to EverythingVolo's, Guide to Monsters, Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide and so on) Roll for gold Multiclass is ok, once per character. I would prefer if you spin it into the game. I want you to think a bit on your backstory, I will check in on each player with a few questions prior to start of campaign.
Characters are made on session zero, we will build the characters as a group. Point buy or roll for stats, the group will decide. I use only 2014 rules and not material after Tash's. Backstory will play in, as I build side quest around them.
