About the adventure
Iphimur is home to many races, factions, nations and ideologies, which makes it a boiling pot for adventures. Tales & legends span generations, and so do family rivelaize. This story will plant you right in the centre of what is set to be a huge development between two of the high ranking families of the Six Shires of Nidum, as they join union for a wedding that's set to make up for previous animosity. Are you ready to see how this develops? This game will be ran using DnD 5E, and will be set on a weekly basis. I wish for it to be roleplay heavy, mixed in with some energising combat and high stakes dungeon diving. For my players I wish for them to bring all they can to each and every session, making sure to create an immersive environment for all involved. Of course I will be there to guide you through this unique world of mine that I have spent years crafting, held many players within and seen beautiful stories played out. We will use DnD Beyond, Roll 20 as well as the browser extension Beyond20. Discord will be used as well for planning stuff, as well as for the voice chat. Mics are a must, video is optional. A FREE Session 0 will be held, here is where I will run through the whole character creation process with you, as well as give you any injections of lore. It will also be a time for everyone to chat and get to know one another, as I believe that is important for the in game chemistry. About me
I have been into TTRPG's for about 8 year at this point, I fell in love with them hard when discovering DnD, and haven't looked back since. I first started out as a player but later found my true passion for the game with DMing, since then its been a constant ride of fun, passion and adventure. DMing has allowed me to open up more in life and embrace the nerdy soul that I possess. I ran a memorable campaign all throughout the pandemic for my friends online, and now I have a regular campaign that I run at home thats been going on for almost 3 years now, all based in a homebrew world I've created. If you are looking for a DM who will always do whatever they can to allow you to create stories that you will hopefully remember for many years to come, then I'm your guy. I used to be a big fantasy book nerd, but now I've turned to DnD to give me some of that dopamine hit for that genre. I am also a writer in my free time and have been developing my own TTRPG systems, such as my own Fallout system, as well as a folkhorror themed game. I'm also in the process of writing a novel based of my first campaign that I ever played as a player.

Creating your character
DnD Beyond will be used to build your character sheets, this will all be ran through during the FREE Session 0. We are using DnD 5E, including Legacy rules.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need accounts for Discord, Roll20 & DnDBeyond. When you sign up for the campaign, I will provide you with a invite to the Discord server, where we can discuss stuff further from there.
What Ryan brings to the table
I will do everything I can to make sure you feel as immersed as possible, from some quirky voices to memorable and well written NPC's. I'm also a big fan of using music and sounds to set the scene and tone, so don't be surprised to hear a few tracks from Witcher 3 as you trek through a dungeon, or maybe even songs from Elden Ring as you slay unstoppable foes.
Homebrew rules
This world is straight from my brain, but I do love having a piece of all my players within it. What does that mean? Well simply put, if you want to design your characters hometown to the finest details, then you may. If you prefer to just makeup the names of an NPC, then so be it. As for further rules, I have Frankensteined both the 2014 & 2024 versions of DnD 5E together in a way that has just become default to me at this point. I'm also very flexible for certain things, but I will also stand by that healing potions are a bonus action!

How Ryan creates a safe table
