About the adventure

The job was supposed to be routine. Data extraction from a mid-level corp subsidiary—the kind of run you've done a dozen times before. But the moment your team breached the server room, everything went sideways. The security response was overwhelming, coordinated, and way too prepared for what should have been a nobody target. Now you're holed up in a condemned building in the Barrens with Lone Star closing in, your decker's bleeding out, and your commlinks are screaming with conflicting evac options from fixers you've never fully trusted. You've got minutes to make choices that'll define whether you survive the night—and if you do, whether you're walking away from this mess or digging into why a simple datasteal just painted the biggest target of your career on your back. This is where the campaign begins. You and a handful of other runners, some you know, some you don't, barely escape with your lives. You've been crossing paths with these same shadowrunners for weeks now, working different jobs for different fixers. The datasteal wasn't random. Someone wanted your crew in that building. The question is whether they wanted you to succeed, or die trying.

About me

Hi! I'm Tony! I’ve been roleplaying for nearly 20 years and DMing for 6+, running 10+ full campaigns to completion, including a 5‑year epic. I got my start in play‑by‑post forums and IRC games, where I fell in love with story‑driven, collaborative TTRPGs. I’m a player‑first DM who focuses on creating immersive, reactive worlds that make every session memorable. My tables are small (4–6 players) and designed to feel personal, creative, and inclusive. 🎲 What You Can Expect at My Table: ✨ Immersive Storytelling: A living world where your choices truly matter 🎭 Dynamic NPCs: Distinct voices, personalities, and meaningful interactions 🗺️ Professional Tools: Roll20 Plus, custom maps, NPC tokens, and ambient music 📝 Session Summaries: Free written recaps, with optional audio highlights or recordings 🤝 Collaborative & Inclusive Play: Every player gets attention; no favoritism or ghosted games ⚔️ Rule of Cool Philosophy: Cinematic combat and creative freedom within a structured game 💡 About Me: I’m inspired by fantasy fiction, culture, and science, and I DM because the best moments come from real people building a story together. My goal is to make your next campaign the one you talk about for years. If you’re looking for a reliable, engaging, and human DM—someone who makes your story the star—I’d love to have you at my table. My roll20: https://app.roll20.net/users/295305/teronism

Character creation

Creating your character

Character creation will happen over Discord and Roll20 after Session 0. Everyone will have a chance to talk about their character concepts, ask questions about gameplay and game lore, and go over campaign expectations. I prioritize making sure the party will mesh together conceptually and be able to cooperate in play.

What to expect

Preparing for the session

Come in with a strong character concept (or a bunch!) you are excited about, and be ready to collaborate creatively! We allow digital or real-life dice rolling, and webcams are optional. You will need the program Discord, to possess a working microphone with good-great quality, and the ability to use press-to-talk or mute on command.

Safety

How Tony creates a safe table

Creating a Safe and Engaging Experience As your GM, I prioritize storytelling and the "rule of cool" - if an action is cinematic and epic, I'll likely allow it, focusing on narrative over strict rule adherence when it enhances our collective experience. Safety Tools & Inclusivity We'll use the X-Card system during play for immediate content pauses Session Zero will establish specific content boundaries and safety tools All players deserve respect, regardless of background or identity. Anyone who thinks otherwise will not be invited back to my table. Unacceptable Behaviors (Zero Tolerance) Discriminatory remarks or behavior toward other players "Murder hobo" approaches that derail the collaborative story Meta-gaming that undermines the immersive experience Deliberately offensive or excessive vulgarity Any behavior that makes other players uncomfortable will lead to a warning, and then ejection if behavior continues. Content Rating & Boundaries Games aim for a PG-13 baseline with some mature themes included During Session Zero, we'll establish specific content "veils" (topics handled off-screen) and "lines" (content never included) I'm committed to maintaining these boundaries throughout our campaign, and ask all my players to do the same. My Commitment as GM I will facilitate fair rule adjudication while prioritizing engaging storytelling over rules lawyering I will mediate any conflicts that arise at the table promptly and respectfully I will uphold our agreed-upon safety tools and content boundaries consistently
