About the adventure

About me
I just turned 27 and I've been DMing since middle school. I love running one shots for friends and newcomers, and decided that it would be a fun way to earn a little extra income after working a corporate job!

Creating your character
We will be doing character creation during the first session, so that everyone is using the same setup of rules, and will have access to my material.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will want a Discord account, a microphone, and DnDBeyond. When players join, I will give everyone their own channel in discord for their notes to be taken.
What Drewsula brings to the table
I'll be the first to admit that I am no voice actor, but I will always do my best to make each creature unique! I mostly follow the rules as written, but I do homebrew some things or allow the rule of cool to fall through if something sounds interesting. I do like making combat a little trickier, since I like to make my players think on their feet, make mistakes, and learn from their errors to make their characters wiser.
Homebrew rules
I say potions are a bonus action, I use inspiration as a stored critical hit instead of inspiration, and more that I will explain in session zero.

How Drewsula creates a safe table
Well for starters, I do not allow homophobia or sexism at my tables. At the start of each session, we will go over the do's and don'ts and allow everyone to say things they aren't comfortable with, so I can make modifications for the setting. If anyone needs to speak to me in private, I am always available in the discord server.
