Welcome to the land of Icewinddale, in this land the ten towns have been plagued by an oppressive Goddess. The oppression: Ice and lack of sun. During these trials it will come down to brave souls who fight for the people or themselves. Being up against time and weather can the adventurers stop the Goddess from completing her quest of global oppression? time will tell.

Meet the Game Master
About me
I have been a Dungeon Master since 2019, during covid I was both a participant and a GM consistently going on 5 to 7 games a week. Right now I average 2 hrs and 30 minutes for modules and homebrew games during the weekends. If I can support the hobby I may host more games to let more people have a chance to play. Everyone deserves to play great sessions of DND.

Creating your character
Character creation will happen before session 0 begins. Character creation based on the Players handbook or goliath races which are apart of icewinddale as well. Stats will be decided by rolling dice. standard rule being roll 4d6 take out the lowest. I modify it to be 4d6 reroll the ones then take out the lowest, for this campaign characters will start at level 1.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
My players should prepare by reading from 2 core books I myself will be using, Icewindale rime of the frost maiden specifically pages 13-15 (character creation), and the players handbook. Players will need a Mic plus access to discord and Roll20.
What Briguy brings to the table
I will be using Wintery Ambient music for this campaign, Voice changes are going to be utilized, when it comes to this campaign I will be striving to use Rules as written, with a few rule of cool exceptions. Players can expect effort on my part. Tech issues being resolved, punctuality, reminders, and basic follow up of story details following the campaign.

Safety
How Briguy creates a safe table
Icewinddale was written as a horror and I plan to play it like that. this game will go over many safety issue things. this being said if there is a player that is not interested in these story items I can ask the player to leave the call during the storyline and then message them to comeback in when the sensitive part is over. I have other players that may have wanted to feel the full effects of the horror which is why they continue staying in the call. This is a way to satisfy both crowds. Aftercare and debriefing will be a big thing. if I find that my players are unanimous on the detail category or they do not want to listen to story details based on another player I will edit the story to be a bit more suitable to the audience. "You get what you pay for" will be my mentality in this campaign.
