About the adventure
Pebbleton is a big city. Good things happen here every day. So do bad ones. It’s a city of neighborhoods and nicknames, of routines and shortcuts, of people who swear nothing ever changes and others who swear it’s all gone downhill. It’s busy, it’s loud, it’s familiar — and when something goes wrong, it goes wrong fast. The Pebbleton Police Department is always working. Especially Homicide. Recently, a handful of beat cops have been promoted. New badges. New desks. New expectations. You’ve walked these streets before — answered calls, broken up arguments, learned which corners to avoid and which diners never close. But now the calls are different. Now you’re not just responding. Now you’re asking questions people don’t want to answer. Homicide in Pebbleton isn’t glamorous. It’s long nights, uncomfortable conversations, and learning far more about people than you ever wanted to know. Every case comes with a story attached — families, coworkers, neighbors, secrets that sat quietly until someone stopped breathing. Pebbleton keeps moving, even when it would rather not look too closely at what’s been left behind. You’re new to this job. The city knows it. Your colleagues know it. The people you interview definitely know it. But the work still has to get done. Someone deserves answers. Someone deserves justice. And someone, somewhere, is hoping you miss a detail. This is a story about a city that never quite tells the whole truth, and the detectives learning how to listen anyway. Welcome to Pebbleton P.D.; Homicide Dept.

About me
Hey! I’m just a queer role player in their mid-twenties, trying to find more people like me to play together! I’ve been playing DnD for about three years, but I still consider myself fairly new to it. But get me a Kids on Bikes campaign, and I’m all in! I’ve GMed four KOB campaigns with my friends, but I want to get out into the world and meet new friends, and players to live in our fantasy worlds with! My favourite way to lead a game is to give my players the world, and let them do with it and in it what the party feels like is best, and I build the story, the plot and the adventure around them! If we don’t agree about something, we’ll leave it to the dice. My game style leans heavily on Roleplay, and you can expect me to default to a 70/30 split, but I am open to any style that my party wants to play! I can’t wait to meet you! ☺️

Creating your character
Character creation will be done using the Kids on Bikes character sheet. A fillable version of the form will be given to all players. You can create your character as you see fit, and I am available to answer questions that may arise!
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Game play will all be done on Discord, and everything you need will be on the discord channel as well! Whenever you join, the server link will be provided to you! :)
What Brașă brings to the table
I will often do character voices to distinguish NPCs for you all, but don't often use ambient music. I am a firm believer in Rule of Cool! If you have any issues, concerns or questions, you are always able to reach out to me!

How Brașă creates a safe table
Lines and Veils is always individual, and I send out a lines and veils questionaire during session 0. If one player says no, it's automatically a no. Session 0 is a time to introduce your character, find your fit at the table, meet everyone else, meet me, and go over everyone's expectations! We will always recap after each session, and I like to incorporate discussions of what went on, and what everyone enjoyed most.
