About the adventure
The Dresden Files Roleplaying Game is a licensed role-playing game based on The Dresden Files and using the Fate system. Fae schemers, vampiric seducers, wizards and magic-workers of all stripes play out their games in a world very similar to our own, at least on the surface. Brought together by connections of fate, a group of allies will be drawn closer together, depending on each other but with their choices tested in fire and with allies and enemies shifting and blurring into one another. Characters will be protecting friends and innocents against a growing darkness that approaches, if they can. It may not be possible to save everyone, and choices may have to be made.

About me
I've been playing RPGs for over 40 years now, since I was but a wee little adventurer. This is a new way to bring in new players and connect people all over the world! New players are the lifeblood of the hobby and I always love seeing what they bring to it.

Creating your character
Characters will be created as part of 'Session Zero'. Familiarity with the Dresden Files RPG book is helpful but not necessary. Familiarity with Fate in general is helpful but rules will be taught. Imagination is definitely helpful.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Discord will be used, and server link provided. Reading urban fantasy books by Jim Butcher, Patricia Briggs, Benedict Jacka, etc. is encouraged.
What Tintros brings to the table
Combat will be a part of the game, but not so much as in games like D&D. The supernatural is dangerous but operates on rules and so there is great wariness in resorting to violence, as it can so easily turn against you. Social 'combat' and investigation will play as much part, each, as combat.
