About the adventure

When powers first appeared is impossible to know, but what is known is when the first public super hit the scene. The year was 1945 and most of the world was locked in war, when soldiers on all sides emerged displaying incredible powers. They quickly changed the face of warfare. Armies destroyed by a hand full of supers on either side. The change rocked the world and changed the following cold war from an arms race to a supers race. At first supers were few and far between, but as the decades rolled on, more and more were born and more and more suddenly manifested. By today a full 25% of the worlds population has some sort of power, though fortunately most are fairly weak, with out right useless powers fairly common. Those handful with real power though, they are celebrities and legends. Champions and demons. Normal police have no hopes against a truly powerful super, so the Champion program was launched. Designed to identify, vet, train, and certify Champions to defend and protect society. Champions are celebrated and revered, the most popular are merchandised and can enjoy the wealth generated by their image, though most make a show of donating the bulk of such windfalls to various charities. Champions do draw a modest salary from the state, which also works to protect their identity. Few become Champions for the money or even the fame. This is because of one simple truth hammered into each recruit from the moment they begin their training, the threat of criminal supers is real, the power distribution in the world is not remotely fair, and above all else, they must ever keep in mind.... Heroes die too.

About me

Hello everyone! Thanks for checking in. I have been gaming and running table tops for years and years and years. I love games and I love gaming. Story telling is one of humanity's oldest arts and is an incredible vehicle for self discovery. I run very inclusive games. All identities are welcome, whoever you are, I am happy to tell stories with you and to you. I expect the same from my players, the world is hard enough, it costs nothing to be good to each other.
