đïž Beginners to Dungeons and Dragons and Play-by-Post welcome! 𧱠Find adventure crawling through a massive dungeon! đ€© Face monsters, find allies, and hit the bigtime! ______________________________________ The world as you knew it is gone. Your life is gone. However, in its place is your new realm of excitement. Congratulations: YOU ARE NOW CONTENT. This campaign thrusts you into a dungeon inspired by the high-stakes energy of Dungeon Crawler Carl. Explore a multi-leveled mega-dungeon where the apocalypse will be televised and you arenât just an adventurer; youâre a network asset. Dropping into the dungeon means thrilling adventure, daring escapes, and peak engagement for the viewers! This is a gritty, madcap, tactical crawl where the monsters are cunning, the traps devious, and Administrator is always watching. Manage your inventory, master your build, break the game before it breaks you, and donât forget the gold. ________________________________________ Play-by-Post offers a low stress way to play. You have time to make decisions, research your idea, check rules before rolling the dice, and play as you have time without carving out a time. Using play-by-post allows everyone to post when they have the opportunity throughout the day and often leads to a more immersive game that reads like a narrative. If you are new to play-by-post, why donât you give it a try?

About me
I believe that all tabletop games are for everyone. I bring with me writing credits for Pinnacle Entertainment, Lady Gamer Games, and Ed Greenwood. I am also a special education teacher. I know how to write interesting and immersive stories while adapting it to ensure everyone at the table feels like they belong and are empowered to play. I have 20 years of experience behind the screen and my table is a welcoming table for those that are part of the LGBTQ+ community or neurodivergent. I love teaching new players as well as running for veteran players.
View Profile âCharacter creation
Creating your character
We will build characters during the session 0. Stats will be generated by point buy. Everyone starts as human (you'll be able to add another race and keep all bonuses later). Characters start out as an NPC class: Aristocrat, Commoner, Expert, or Warrior (you'll be able to a full class when you first level). As characters level all official classes across all official D&D 3/3.5 setting will be available - except Book of the Nine Swords.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
You will need a Discord account to join the game server.
What Kenny Mahan brings to the table
I will send a link to a private Notion for each player where I will track NPCs, events, etc. to help with any players note-taking. This game will be play-by-post, we will (first thing) discuss how often we should be posting to keep the game moving along. I will be setting up an in-character chat and an out-of-character chat as well. During play I like to stick to rule-of-cool, and the let everyone have a share of the spotlight.
Homebrew rules
We will not be starting with any homebrew rules, they may develop as we play (and that is fine). If they do we will discuss them as we go.

How Kenny Mahan creates a safe table
At the session 0 we will go over character creation as well as the Monte Cooke Consent Checklist. As this game does have people playing villains and I've seen it get out of hand I will be exact with the consent checklists and the use of x-card is always an option. One of the perks of play-by-post and using Discord, we can back up delete and retcon anything that we need to to ensure everyone is comfortable.
