About the adventure
There are many table top games out there that are based on shows, or books, or movies that do a decent job at making you feel like you're in that world. There are even a few decent horror games that make you feel like you're in a scary situations. Very few games are able to mix those two genres, and somehow surpass them at once. The Alien TTRPG aims to place you in the cold, unforgiving universe that appears throughout the Alien Franchise. A 'verse where Corporations run everything and use people like tools to achieve their nefarious goals. In "Chariot of the Gods" you will play a what we jokingly call a "space trucker" that is diverted from their primary job to take on a special, surprise mission from the Weyland-Yutani Company; there's a ship out there with a special cargo, and it's your job to secure it or forfeits all your shares, making this whole trip into the depths of space a waste of time. Chariots is the first of a trilogy of cinematic adventures by Free League Games. If we get a group that's willing and brace enough, I'd love to run the entire trilogy: The Draconis Strain Trilogy. But first, we've got to survive this one... do you have what it takes?

About me
I'm someone who's always been into creative and roleplaying games in someway or another for as long as I can remember. I started in play by post and played that for more than 20 years before I even started exploring dice-driven table-top RPGs. I feel in love immediately and as soon as I got a grasp on a system I tried to run it myself. I started by running a custom campaign of Star Wars by Fantasy Flight. Since then I've run games of DnD 5e, the Alien Cinematic Scenarios, Cyberpunk RED, Star Trek Adventures, and Marvel's Multiverse. I'm currently learning SIFRP and the One Ring system. Part of the reason that I love DMing is that I'm obsessed with story telling and involving others in the story. At some point I'd like to create games like these or perhaps even become a writer myself. Things are up in the air right now; all I know is that I want to do more, DM more, and tell more stories.

Creating your character
The game provides 5 pre-made characters that are essential to the plot. During session zero we will pick characters and I'll give everyone their secret agendas. If none of the characters appeal to you, we can discuss what we'd like to do at that point.
What to expect
Preparing for the session
Being familiar with the Alien franchise is a plus. If you really want to "prime yourself" for the game, I highly suggest watching the original Alien, Prometheus, and Alien: Covenant.
What Locke brings to the table
I will do my best to bring the Alien universe to life for my players, and hopefully create new hardcore fans such as myself... I also have a discord server and roll20!
Homebrew rules
I apply the "one panic effect per round" rule, since it can get pretty crazy if we just let panic spirals start.

How Locke creates a safe table
During session zero the players and I will discuss their hard lines and veils, as well as anything that might make them uncomfortable. I will be clear on what type of world to expect, but also make sure I don't trigger anyone. The goal is for ALL players to have fun and not feel uncomfortable.
