About the adventure
This short 2 part adventure is from the new D&D Stranger Things starter set. I will be breaking this set down into multiple parts. I will also be running it as a learn to play for new players but vets and those that have played before are welcome. So come and play as one of the characters the kids played as Eddie Munson ran the game for them.

About me
I started DMing back during the pandemic. Had never really played but had always wanted to. Having my kids home from school I decided I would jump right in and start running games for my them. I really enjoy using terrain and minis so I am looking to bring that into online play.

Creating your character
You will play as one of the premade characters that Will and his friends played in the show. The list below is the character choices and a brief description. Lady Applejack: Played by Erica Sinclair, Lady Applejack is a Chaotic Good, Elf Rogue who will sneak behind any monster, stab them in the back with her kukri, and smile as she watches them die a slow, agonizing death. Nog the Dwarf: Dustin Henderson’s sturdy Cleric, Nog, has gotten his companions out of a bind more times than he can count. Nog is a devotee of Heironeous, a god of chivalry, justice, and war. Sundar the Bold: A gallant and unyielding warrior, Sundar the Bold bravely defends his companions—just like this Fighter’s player, Lucas Sinclair. Tayr the Paladin: When Mike Wheeler isn’t behind the DM screen in his parents’ basement, he dusts off his trusty Paladin, Tayr. The heart of the party, Tayr unites his companions and leads the charge in their fight against evil. Will the Wise: Will Byer’s Wizard is a mainstay of the party and is always up for another adventure. When Will the Wise casts a spell, his magic sometimes manifests in unexpected colors

What Adrian brings to the table
Rule of cool and your enjoyment are my main focus. I have years of experience with new comers to D&D from running games at GenCon, Pax, MagicCon Chicago, and many other charity conventions.
Homebrew rules
There will be options of small homebrew rules that may present themselves as we play and the playes get to choose whether we use them or not.

How Adrian creates a safe table
We will be using the x card system so making a x card out of paper to hold up to the camera if you are using one or typing X into chat. This system is utilized for player safety and to be taken seriously. If at any point during the adventure you feel uncomfortable with what is going on feel free to hold up that card or typing X in chat so I and others can know to switch up the subject.
